Stella McDermott: Tori Spelling’s Daughter!
Former 90210 star Tori Spelling gave birth to a daughter on Monday, June 9.
Stella Doreen McDermott arrived at 3:13 p.m. PT and weighed 6 lbs 8 oz.
“She’s here!” Tori’s rep tells OK! “She’s a healthy baby girl. Tori and baby are resting comfortably.”

Wait one Fing minuet. Have you notice that almost 95% of the celebrities who have given birth lately, have girls? It is said in recent studies that having a girl or a boy is determined by a woman’s food choices prior to getting pregnant. Usually having a girl means that your nutrition and food intake is not complete.
With so many starving women in Hollywood trying to stay thin prior to pregnancy, and many women around the united states copying them, there are going to be so many girls. Anyone who has a boy, they will be a hot commodity. The best way to stay thin is to exercise and make sure to eat right, not starve or limit your food choices.

Stella is cute but it makes me think of a Street Car Named Desire so I would never name my daughter that. Doreen on the other hand I am not feeling. I like Tori. She seems like a nice person & doesn’t take herself too seriously. For a girl who was born w/ a silver spoon in her mouth she is really down to Earth. I am glad that she is happy & wish her the best.

Stella’s better than some of the other names celebs pick… (Nahla, Honor, etc). I think Stella’s just unique enough to be a celebrity baby name, and just common enough to not be awful!

The name Stella reminds me more of a name she would have named one of her dogs, but I agree it’s not as bad as some of the others of late.
Melanie Griffith and Antonio named their daughter Stella some years ago..but she’s cute child…not sure Tori’s girl will be too cute.

Gender of the baby has to do with whether the sperm gives the egg an X chromosome (making the embryo XX, a girl) or a Y chromosome (making the embryo XY, a boy). It has nothing to do with nutrition, you moron.

Cute Name, I always like the name Stella.
Tori seems to be getting (a little) less fug with age. Maybe now she has a full time McNanny & hand McMaiden she has more time for McMake-up application.
I have always loved the name Stella, All at once, it’s strong and feisty yet feminine imo. Not real familiar w/the couple as actors or in real life, but they seem to be a loving/committed parents/family.

The jolie-pitts gave their babies unusual names but they are not so far out there like Moses or Apple or Honor.
I like Harlow - I think that’s unique and cute at the same time. Who else popped some babies recently? I can’t think.
Izzi - you make no sense! LOL So if everyone ate healthy they would have boys? Then the human race would end, would it not. Gender is determined by the MAN! The man is the one who carries the X or Y chromosome, women carries the X. If an X meets X the baby is a girl, if the Y meets X the baby is a boy. Simple high school biology. I have one boy and two girls and I ate the same with all of them.
Congratulations! I think it’s a nice name for a baby. It’s exotic like Apple or Tallulah, not easy to make fun of, and it sounds feminie, so people won’t be expecting to see a boy when they hear the name, and it is easy pronounce in other languages as well, so it covers all the requirements I think are important for a name. Forgot one, its timeless as well, it is as modern today, as it will be in 20 or 40 years, it does not remind of any skandalous stars and it sounds equally cute on a 7 year old, as well as on a 70 year old, I think those features are also important to take into account.

Liam is the Irish form of William.
Stella is italian for “STAR”
so many girls in Italian, France, Great Britain or Germany have this name…
In spanish star is Estrella. I just don’t know any latina’s called/named Stella, and just never made the connect.

I am so sorry to hear about Mimi , it absolutely broke my heart. I have eight dogs of my own that I take care of and love and they love us absolutely. Two are rescued from people who treated them cruely. They are happy now. All were hand delivered and loved and cared for.
I wish you all the best and may God protect you and your family from people who wish you wrong things.
I know in my heart that Jack will grow to love the kids and Lola should be included. Tori and Dean’s ex wife will become friends or they can have a horrible life fighting it. If they become friends it would make everything for them easier. Look what Jane Seymour had to go through. Now, they all get along vvery well. No one knows exactly what went on, it is not for us to judge. Like Tori’s book says they both were very unhappy and staying in a situation being very unhappy is not good. Not good for them or the kids or anyone.
I wish Tori and Dean and kids and dogs the very best life has to offer and I am sooooooo proud of Tori. Have you guys really listened to Tori and looked at her. She is a BEAUTIFUL person. Very pretty inside and out.

well it’ll all be the same in the end, when you look at India and other countries in the world were girls are not welcomed. There´s 50 million girls missing in India so it not a bad thing that the women in west are having more girls….
