James McAvoy attends the photocall for the movie Wanted at Adlon Hotel in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.
Originally, James, 29, was rejected for the lead role of Wesley Gibson in Wanted.
“They wanted someone geeky. I screen-tested for the movie over a year ago and they never gave me the part. Then, it was about seven months later when they went, “Look, we’ve been trying to find someone who’s muscle-y who looks good and all that, but it just didn’t work with someone like that so they said, “Could you come and do it?” They basically just said, “You’re the runt of the litter and that’s what makes it work” so yeah, and that’s why I like it. So while I’m doing all this physical work, it’s important for me to remain small. I’m sure they want me to get all big, but it’s important to remain believably geeky,” he told Comingsoon.net back in February.

Stop fighting over this. James is hot and talented as is Angie. This is a transition for James into big’ish budget movies, and Angie is the stepping stone they have used for him. The important question is where are Morgan and Common!?
PEOPLE are disappointed that they won’t see Angie for a while that’s all! Absolutely no need to result to childishness!
Every character in the film contributed, Morgan’s Sloane; Angie’s Fox and Common’s, but it is James’s Wesley’s journey that we are watching.

The ones WHO trigger by their own presnce hatred and deepest love equally are the ones who fascinate the majority, the ones who people, haters or lovers DO CARE FOR in one way or another.
That’s the common denominator of those who have tremendous charisma coupled with talent and a starish iconic strong personality…Marylin Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando, Elvis even Madonna…all of them, deeply loved and deeply hated beyond the imagination.
Those are the real stars of their contemporaries who are CARED negatively or positively, hence they are and were at their respective time talked about a lot and controversial.
They are the ones who will become ICONS after their death and who are going to inspire most of the promising starlets coming long after their death.
James McAvoy looks really good in all these pictures. I love the “Wanted” trailer very much, so am going to see the movie and buy the DVD when it comes out.
It’s understandable why the names of Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie can be brought up by fans in this thread, because they are both in this movie too, and are big actors in this movie too. So instead of fans of James or Morgan or Angelina competing and bashing each other, they should just all be happy and support the movie. They all seem great in this movie; so let’s all see “Wanted.”

Hello Original JPF, yes, I remember when….. All you need to do is go to a thread here and see the reduction in intelligence of people. One even responded to me implying that they were compelled to answer someone with an equally stupid answer simply because the person had posted.

This is going to be a blockbuster movie ! 3 outstanding actors - Freeman, Jolie and McAvoy !

Will definitely see this movie. Am a big Angie Fan and where did I see first this little dude? Ah in the movie Wimbledon. He was great in Last King of Scotland and did remarkable acting in Atonement. Morgan Freeman is one of the great actors in the 20th century. I can not miss this one. Very unique european film with!
James McAvoy is an incredibly insightful and sensitive actor and will have a fantastic career (ala Michael Caine or Sean Connery) He will be in films (many will be great ones) for decades to come. Those who go to see films to be drawn into a complex and fascinating charactor will be completely mesmerized viewing a McAvoy film. Those who only enjoy cinema on a superficial level won’t get him so don’t bother if you’re like that - “superficial”.
Personally, I think that most of the AJ fans posting on this site seem mentally unstable. Inspite of her low brow fans, she too is a fantastic and mesmerizing actress who can really let the viewer into the mind and soul of the character she plays (well usually, but not always - depends on the role sort of and the genre). A mighty heart comes to mind, She is great at comedy too (Mr and Mrs Smith) and action.
She can pretty much do it all when it comes to making good and great films.
