OlderJames McAvoy is a Wanted Geek
James McAvoy attends the photocall for the movie Wanted at Adlon Hotel in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.
Originally, James, 29, was rejected for the lead role of Wesley Gibson in Wanted.
“They wanted someone geeky. I screen-tested for the movie over a year ago and they never gave me the part. Then, it was about seven months later when they went, “Look, we’ve been trying to find someone who’s muscle-y who looks good and all that, but it just didn’t work with someone like that so they said, “Could you come and do it?” They basically just said, “You’re the runt of the litter and that’s what makes it work” so yeah, and that’s why I like it. So while I’m doing all this physical work, it’s important for me to remain small. I’m sure they want me to get all big, but it’s important to remain believably geeky,” he told Comingsoon.net back in February.

Slowly, it is really like a curse to read a thread about anybody as soon as Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt is in it!
I really miss intelligent and pleasing conversations about a film. I do like Angelina, but tell me why, every time there is an article about AJ, the name of Jennifer (in a bad manner) has to be brought up? Why can we not act like adult and talk with our brains about a film?
Angelina is not the only one who can sell a film. And this is about James McAvoy. He did until now some very good films! Even Dune was good because of him! Some of you may never see him, but it doesn’t mean that he is not good or exist. I for one, do not go to see this film because of her, but because of James and Morgan Freeman.
Many films are excellent, without the presence of Angelina. And if this film is good “only” because of her, I ask my self, why the hell James received nominations for BAFTA, Golden Globe, and even as actor of the Year (2005) in England?!
About Morgan Freeman, we really don’t need to talk about him, do we?

im looking forward to seeing this film because the actors are all really good. its got a great cast.
james is a great actor and i love his scottish accent and his sense of humour. he’s really hilarious and yes, he is geeky in a cute way.

I am sorry if I sound “snotty” on Liv/Edward Norton’s thread. I only try to tell you from where I got the informations. To think about it, it is kind of silly to argue about somebody’s size! Edward is tall for me, as I am small. May be it is the other way around for you. It’s relative, as Einstein might say it….

James is a talented man, and while it a shame Angie couldn’t be there the other cast, Freeman and James were. Stop arguing useless points about Angelina and Brad. Brad was happy before Angelina but not quite fulfilled, due to being childless. Angie was happy and fulfilled and now they are are together. End of story. People who wish terrible things about any couple (death, and name calling) are the scum of the earth and should just go craw under a rock. Both had success in the box office without each other around. Regina is full of **** and she know it.

I want to see Angie as well as McAvoy, I love them both, can’t wait for the movie!!!
