Mark Wahlberg Wants Nine Kids!!!
Mark Wahlberg and his longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham, 29, only have two kids — Ella, 4, and Michael, 2 — and are expecting a third (a boy in September) but they want many, many more.
“When the kids are good, we want eight or nine,” Mark, 37, told People. “When they’re bad, we [want] to stop at three.”
He adds, “[Having a full house] is awesome. Hectic at times. But a lot of fun… My fear is failing as a father, as a friend, as a son. I have a lot of responsibility and a lot of people counting on me. And I know God has put me in this position to put back and try to create some opportunities for some others, show kids there is another way.”
Mark can next be seen as a science teacher running for his life in the thriller, The Happening, out this Friday, June 13.

I like Mark. He should merry the mom at this point, but I digress. It seems like he is a good father.
I think it’s completely wrong to dictate how many kids people who can take care of them should have. Does anybody tell poor Africans or Asians not to have a 10 kids when they are impoverished? Why do they have the right to have as many kids as they want and not Americans who can support their children? Is the western world supposed to adopt those who have children in other regions, when they really shouldn’t be the ones reproducing so much? Why not hold them responsible just as you would western citizens for overpopulation?
The Jolie-Pitts do not care what any one else thinks, when they say, ” more children may be coming down the road”, for them. I guess if you have the money and the help, why not? I guess time will tell, after the disposition of these 3 children come out. { ha}
Oops, he should *marry* the mom.
They are married. Short of legal status there is not one thing that translates into them not being just as married as someone WITH legal status. I get so tired and fed up with that one item especially when there is nowhere in the Bible that explicitly states at what point God considers a couple to be married. He, Tim Robbins, Kurt Russell, Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt all are just as committed to their partners/children as Matt Damon, Denzel, Will Smith, Ben Affleck and a host of others who decided to add legal status to their respective unions.

When a woman marries a man, SHE DOES NOT BECOME HIS PROPERTY ! A man without confidence is not fit to marry !
Bush said he has family value, but look what he had done to our brothers, sisters, fathers and mother. Millions have lost their lives here and abroad !
there is nothing wrong with partners not being married. as long as they are there to love and care for their children and is able provide their needs.

SO glad to see this very true post!
If people thinks there’s a difference between marriage and committed partners, and that marriage will keep them “all to their husband’s self” when a commitment doesn’t, they are fooling themselves. The act of love and commitment has nothing to do with whether or not you announce you’ll be together forever in front of family and friends in a ceremony, or in private.
Especially when marriage has proven not to make people bound to each other, why do people keep pushing for it? It seems to me that misery loves company, and if they are forced to stay in a relationship by outside influences, they want others to be so forced as well.
The people com have just published that Mark IS GOING TO MARRY Rhea and calls her “his future wife”. Well, its about time and definitely proves my point! Go on evying married couples, losers!
I love how people point fingers at the world & yet they’re probably living a “taboo” lifestyle themselves. I’m happy for Mark & Rhea in their un-wedded bliss.
He won’t marry her. She has gotten pregnant on purpose three times. Each time she knew the relationship was over she surprisingly became pregnant again. They were split up again earlier this year. He had to take her back because she threatens him with not seeing the kids and taking all of his money. The second child isn’t even his (or so that is what everybody in LA says). She sees other guys all the time while he is away (which is 90% of the time). And he has girls in Vancouver, Toronto, LA, Philadelphia and NYC. So , YEA these two should definitely get married. That union would surely last!! Besides he is way too religous to stand before GOD and LIE through a wedding ceremony.

Personally, I don’t think it matters whether they are married or not. Just for the record, they are planning to get marries next summer. If they want 27 kids, it is no business of ours so we should just leave them be. They will take care of their children in the way they see fit, regardless of what anyone else says or does. Mark loves Rhea, Rhea loves Mark, and they both love Ella Rae, Michael and Brendan. If you don’t like the fact that they are not married, GET OVER IT!!!!! They don’t have to do anything to YOUR liking so shut up. My best wishes go to Mark, Rhea and their children, however many they may have in the future!
