Sarah Michelle Gellar Decides To Die

Sarah Michelle Gellar walks to her trailer after filming a scene for her latest drama, Veronika Decides to Die, in New York City on Tuesday.

The film tells the story about a woman named Veronika (Gellar) who wakes up in a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt. She discovers that she has a weakened heart and only days to live. Veronika’s road to recovery is followed as she finds true love and a newfound will to survive.

Veronika Decides To Die, out in 2009, is based on a book that takes from author Paulo Coelho’s experience in various mental institutions.

Nice. Finally she chooses a good movie role! Can’t wait for it. I’ve loved SMG ever since Buffy, but she never makes any good movies or movies that interest me.

I’ve read that book, and I deeply loved it. I just hope the film will turn out good…but I think Sarah is way too pretty to play Veronika, the character in the book is not described as a particularly beautiful girl. I love Sarah but I’m a bit skeptical about this film.

Bianca, you must be one of those people who want everyone to look the same, generic, boring.
Sarah is pretty because she’s different, not plastic and looking like everyone else.

I’m also glad she’s getting back into acting and taking a good role. I think she was all caught up in her relationship and got sidetracked for a while. I hope this means she’s found balance, not that the relationship is over.
