OlderAngelina Jolie: Brad Pitt is Hard to Shop For!
Angelina Jolie gave a refreshingly candid interview to Entertainment Weekly while checking out a window display of Corum watches at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in the south of France.
On her partner not being easy to buy things for: “Brad is the hardest person to shop for. ‘He has impeccable design taste. And whenever he sees something he likes, he buys it for himself.”
On Brad’s most recent gift to her (a gun-charm necklace she wore to her EW photo shoot): ”Mad, our 6-year-old, draws lots of war scenarios. He’s all into war and guns. So for Mother’s Day he drew a machine gun, and Brad had it made into a necklace, which is really sweet. It’s really cute. I think it’s really good!”
On some people who can’t reconcile her old persona, where she talked about knives and cutting, with her more recent identity as a mother and activist: “But again, it’s not that different. The reason I talked about going through certain pains or even cutting myself is that I was already out the other side. I knew there were people that do that — and somehow are happy that somebody admitted they did and discussed how they got out of it. I don’t see the point of doing an interview unless you’re going to share the things you learn in life and the mistakes you make. So to admit that I’m extremely human and have done some dark things, I don’t think makes me unusual or unusually dark. I think it actually is the right thing to do and I’d like to think it’s the nice thing to do.”
On anything she’s said that she wishes she hadn’t (like all that business about wearing the vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around your neck when you two were married): “No! It was never a vial anyway. It was like a flower press. It was like from a slight cut on your finger and you press your fingerprint in. It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic! I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I’m proud to have been his wife for a time. I don’t believe in regrets. It’s a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself.”
On people saying being pregnant is bad for one’s sex life: “No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”
On Brad’s new tattoo: “I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.”

Sorry girl, but Chain smoking Jen has never been blessed with kids because God knows she is not going to be a good mother, she will blow smoke into her baby always, and will leave them just to have her suntan and spa treatments.
Angelina is truly blessed, God knows she is a good Mom, that He continues to bless her with more, giving her twins even if she has 4 already.

Re: BBT’s ‘alleged’ quote… the fact that it was paraphrased versus being directly quoted shows that someone is trying to stir up some $h*t. If anything, it’s in the same spirit of the Chris Martin quote, in that both are being self-deprecating, although BBT’s irony is more apparent. Also, just because Angelina said that she loved BBT doesn’t mean that she loves him the same way she used to. Given how he conducted himself with regards to Maddox, it’s doubtful that he could ever assume the same place in her heart that he used to, nor can he claim a better place in her heart. Maybe his conversation with her after Marcheline died reminded her of the person he can be, but it’s doubtful that it’s enough to abandon what she has now.
And another thing that needs to be considered is Brad’s love. When you come across a new love who loves you in a way that’s unknown to you, it helps you gain more perspective; at its best, it helps to put all of the past loves into perspective and makes you view it with more objectivity and even reverence. It’s a common female practice to diss the past men in order to build the new man up, but essentially, fixating on the bad offers the new man insight into your own disfunction (hint, hint ___).

AJ has stated on many occassions since they became friends after divorcing that she thought he was good guy/artist and loved him. That is a BIG difference from being IN LOVE with him. If she wanted that, she would have gone back to it in 2003/2004 pre-Brad.

Irma, you should’ve read your manual before putting in the regular gasoline…Regular gasoline might not damage your engine but, you might not come out cheaper using the lesser octane, because the engine might burn that regular gasoline quicker to compensate for the need of a higher octane…so, maybe you don’t really save as much because you’re need to refill quicker… you should check with your mechanic.

After the STK dinner and event, hosted by Coco de Ville founder Mary Fanaro and sponsored by Kitson, the group headed next door to Coco de Ville, for the OmniPeace.com event honoring Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, co-founder of the anti-poverty organization Millennium Promise.

Aniston greeted Sachs – famous for his philanthropic work with Angelina Jolie – with a warm hug, and the two sat in intense conversation for 20 minutes. (After Sachs left, Aniston and Mayer discreetly held hands under the table while catching up with Cox and Arquette.)
“[Jen] is absolutely wonderful,” Sachs told PEOPLE later. “She knows that she reaches so many people and is eager to contribute in many ways. It was absolutely fantastic to speak with her.”
As for his other celebrity supporters – Jolie and Aniston’s ex, Brad Pitt – the author of Millennium Promise offered glowing praise.
“They’re so much fun and so committed,” he said. “Angie is just boundless energy, creativity, endlessly so … And Brad is so committed as well with what he’s been doing in New Orleans on environmental issues. It’s phenomenal.”

“I’ve always loved kids. Kids are so important. It’s important to nurture and spend time with them and listen to them. I’m not ready to be a mom. But (adoption) is something that is important to consider. That’s what I really admire about Angelina. I think it’s beautiful the way she embraces children of the world. We are all one. We’re not as separate as we oftentimes think. So I possibly would, when I’m more in the motherhood stage of my life.”

She is keeping quiet in France because she has not been photographed for at least two weeks! And to all the people who say she is telling to much about her private life, she is just being herself and answering the questions the interviewer was interested in!!!
