OlderAngelina Jolie: Brad Pitt is Hard to Shop For!
Angelina Jolie gave a refreshingly candid interview to Entertainment Weekly while checking out a window display of Corum watches at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in the south of France.
On her partner not being easy to buy things for: “Brad is the hardest person to shop for. ‘He has impeccable design taste. And whenever he sees something he likes, he buys it for himself.”
On Brad’s most recent gift to her (a gun-charm necklace she wore to her EW photo shoot): ”Mad, our 6-year-old, draws lots of war scenarios. He’s all into war and guns. So for Mother’s Day he drew a machine gun, and Brad had it made into a necklace, which is really sweet. It’s really cute. I think it’s really good!”
On some people who can’t reconcile her old persona, where she talked about knives and cutting, with her more recent identity as a mother and activist: “But again, it’s not that different. The reason I talked about going through certain pains or even cutting myself is that I was already out the other side. I knew there were people that do that — and somehow are happy that somebody admitted they did and discussed how they got out of it. I don’t see the point of doing an interview unless you’re going to share the things you learn in life and the mistakes you make. So to admit that I’m extremely human and have done some dark things, I don’t think makes me unusual or unusually dark. I think it actually is the right thing to do and I’d like to think it’s the nice thing to do.”
On anything she’s said that she wishes she hadn’t (like all that business about wearing the vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around your neck when you two were married): “No! It was never a vial anyway. It was like a flower press. It was like from a slight cut on your finger and you press your fingerprint in. It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic! I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I’m proud to have been his wife for a time. I don’t believe in regrets. It’s a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself.”
On people saying being pregnant is bad for one’s sex life: “No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”
On Brad’s new tattoo: “I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.”

I love how no matter how many people hate Angelina and write nasty things about her they will never be able to change the fact that Brad and Angelina appear to be very happy and will soon have six kids. It is very funny to imagine the annoyance and anger in the people who dislike Angelina so much when good things keep happening to her. I dont think they are happy. u always see brad is not happy nor angie is happy.she’s just happy if she is with her kids not with brad. angie and jennifer will overpower brad. brad is no longer that popular in HW its a trend to hate brad. look at all blogs. they hate brad, criticize his work, especially his acting ability. this relationship will not really work for them. mind you she will leave brad. and jen she’s happy with mayer. she will not recieve brad anymore, after all he has done?!

this is what i have concluded about xx. i think x is driven by guilt,she spent her entire life running from regrets and hiding her shame, guilt-driven people are manipulated by memories, they allow their past to control their future. They often unconsciously punish themselves by sabotaging their own success. She is a products of her past, but she should not be a prisoner of it, she is limited by her past, she is driven by resentment she hold on to their hurts and never get over it. Instead of releasing her pain through forgiveness, she rehearse it over and over in her mind.
Resentment always hurts you more that it does the person you resent, while your offenders have probably forgotten the offense and gone on with life, she continues to stew in her past perpetuating the pain. Those who have hurt in the past cannot continue to hurt you now unless you hold on to the pain through resentment. Her past is past! nothing will change it, she is only hurting herself with her bitterness and for her sake she should learn from it and let it go.
She is driven by fear this is caused by unrealistic expectation, growing up in a high control home, or even genetic predisposition, regardless of the cause, fear-driven people often miss great opportunities because they’re afraid to venture out . Instead she play it safe, avoiding risks and trying to maintain the status quo. Fear is a self-imposed prison that will keep her from becoming what she intends to be.
She is driven by materialism, she desire to acquire become the whole goal of her life. This drive to always get more is based on the misconception that having more will make her more happy, more important and more secure but all three ideas are untrue. Possessions only provide temporary happiness. Because things do not change, we eventually become bored with them and then want newer, bigger and better. She is got a myth that if i get more, i will be more important. Its called Self-worth and net worth are not the same. Your value is not determined by your valuables.
She is driven by the need for approval, she allows the expectations of fans and friends to control her life. She is driven by peer pressure always worried by what others might think of her unfortunately, those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it. I dont know the key to success, but one key to failure is to try to please everyone. She is controlled by the opinion of others and its a guarantee way to miss purpose to her life.
All i can say is she need to know her purpose in life and this will simplify her life. Without clear purpose you have no foundation on which to base decisions, allocate your time, and use your resources. She will tend to make choices based on circumstances, pressure, and your mood at the moment. She will keep changing directions, e.g plastic surgery, relationships,or other externals - hoping each change will settle the confusion or fill the emptiness in her heart, thinking , maybe this time ti will be different, but it doesn’t solve her real problem - Lack of focus and purpose.

IT’S not often you open the construction trade press to see a story which starts with the words “Brad Pitt,” so when it happened last week it caught my attention.
The one paragraph story in Contract Journal was about how Mr Pitt is helping to design an environmentally-friendly five-star hotel in Dubai.
While the star has a passion for architecture, this made me think that it was a superb case of the target end user being involved in shaping a project from the earliest stages.
Who better to tell you what a desirable customer wants from a high-end hotel than one of Hollywood’s A-List? A gimmick? I think not on this occasion.
There is something we could all take from this, and I’m not saying that it should be used as an excuse to hike fees to employ celebrities to help shape our environment.
Construction, when all is said and done, is all about what the end user wants and needs, whether that be the person who will live in a home, an office manager of a business which will lease commercial space or a teacher taking a class.
What about bringing in those who work on the NHS front line to help shape new hospitals and GP surgeries, or teachers to advise on the practicalities of school design?
While our industry has the expertise in bricks and mortar, it is such people who will have to live or work in the end result and have the experience we may lack which could lead to groundbreaking design.
Who’s to say that there aren’t thousands of people in buildings across the North East saying to themselves “if only this building had a…” or “why on earth did they put that post there?”
This experience could be harnessed as we in construction continue to strive to reach the highest standards and the next step in design and build.

brad is no longer that popular in HW its a trend to hate brad. look at all blogs. they hate brad, criticize his work, especially his acting ability.
Blogs, especially dlisted, Perezhilton, and FemaleFirst, are not HW. HW is Jeffrey Katzenberg, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ron Gazer, Ron Howard, Clint Eastwood — all of whom Brad has the respect of. Last I checked, most of HW bigwigs have now come to respect Brad’s work, esp. Babel and TAOJJBTCRF as an actor, and The Departed, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a producer. Besides, most of these guys in HW have their share of history of falling in love with their co-workers (Steven S and Kate Capshaw) or divorces (George Lucas and Clint Eastwood). They would be the last to throw stones.
Also, are you really serious in saying that Brad’s work when he was with the X was better? The Mexican, Spy Game — yeah, award-worthy films, NOT.
Jared needs a laugh button…some need to be told what the punch-line is and when to laugh cause this is a sit-com in here for sure…hahaha
