OlderAngelina Jolie: Brad Pitt is Hard to Shop For!
Angelina Jolie gave a refreshingly candid interview to Entertainment Weekly while checking out a window display of Corum watches at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in the south of France.
On her partner not being easy to buy things for: “Brad is the hardest person to shop for. ‘He has impeccable design taste. And whenever he sees something he likes, he buys it for himself.”
On Brad’s most recent gift to her (a gun-charm necklace she wore to her EW photo shoot): ”Mad, our 6-year-old, draws lots of war scenarios. He’s all into war and guns. So for Mother’s Day he drew a machine gun, and Brad had it made into a necklace, which is really sweet. It’s really cute. I think it’s really good!”
On some people who can’t reconcile her old persona, where she talked about knives and cutting, with her more recent identity as a mother and activist: “But again, it’s not that different. The reason I talked about going through certain pains or even cutting myself is that I was already out the other side. I knew there were people that do that — and somehow are happy that somebody admitted they did and discussed how they got out of it. I don’t see the point of doing an interview unless you’re going to share the things you learn in life and the mistakes you make. So to admit that I’m extremely human and have done some dark things, I don’t think makes me unusual or unusually dark. I think it actually is the right thing to do and I’d like to think it’s the nice thing to do.”
On anything she’s said that she wishes she hadn’t (like all that business about wearing the vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around your neck when you two were married): “No! It was never a vial anyway. It was like a flower press. It was like from a slight cut on your finger and you press your fingerprint in. It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic! I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I’m proud to have been his wife for a time. I don’t believe in regrets. It’s a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself.”
On people saying being pregnant is bad for one’s sex life: “No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”
On Brad’s new tattoo: “I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.”

Saw a glimpse of the drawing on stu pitts back on jj when he was getting into a helicopter.Looks pathetic, like a child has scribbled it.This man and woman have no intellect, they teach their brood no rules, guidance,respect ,routine nothing! These are what children need and crave.Her father was spot on when he said she had mental health problems, it shows in the way she drags her children up and what she spews from her mouth.

GENEVA, June 13 (UNHCR) - From Australia through ancient Rome to the Americas, people around the globe will take part in the most ambitious and spectacular World Refugee Day (WRD) celebrations ever over the coming week. With “Protection” as this year’s global theme, UNHCR and its partners, including governments, donors, non-governmental organizations, Angelina Jolie and other Goodwill Ambassadors and refugees themselves, will stage a wide range of activities, including light shows, photography exhibitions, film festivals, lectures, panel discussions, food bazaars, fashion shows, concerts and sports competitions. There will also be quizzes, drawing and essay-writing competitions, tree planting, seminars, workshops, speeches, public awareness campaigns and poetry recitals, while UNHCR will recreate refugee camp life in around 20 capitals around the world. Aside from these showcase events aimed at raising money and awareness in major cities and donor nations, more modest but equally enthusiastic events are planned at refugee camps and settlements for internally displaced people in the run up to World Refugee Day and on the day itself, June 20. High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres will start his celebrations on Tuesday in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square, which will be turned into a refugee camp for a day to highlight the plight of hundreds of thousands of people displaced by conflict in Sudan’s Darfur region. Other celebrity supporters of UNHCR in the United States will be helping to promote the theme of protection. A special message from UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie will be released on video-sharing website YouTube around the world next Wednesday, while Deng will invite YouTubers and Facebook users to join an online campaign to “Give Refugees a Hand.”
The messages by Jolie and Deng are examples of how UNHCR is using social utilities and new media to reach out to the online community and to get people involved.

The Coquettes tried to get her to participate in an African charity event they did last summer and X wouldn’t hear of it. Now she’s suddenly huddling with Dr. Sachs for 20 minutes? What’s she asking him about other than Angelina & Brad? B#tch doesn’t even know how to spell “Africa” let alone where it’s at or anything about the countries there. She said Aniston’s whining and getting attention from the media was all Brad’s fault for marrying below his station .In doing so, he gave her the illusion that she was more than she really is.

Two great posts. Do you ever wonder if part of Steven Huvane’s motivation is the fact that Brad dropped hs brother Kevin as his agent when he dumped X? I don’t think it’s any great accident that S. Huvane has not one, but two clients who are Brad’s exes, and both clients are constantly bringing Brad up in interviews whether they’re asked about him or not. There’s got to be a lot of residual anger in S. Huvane. Not only did Brad dump his biggest client, thereby lessening her employment opportunities, especially big paydays, which in turn puts a dent in HIS earnings…but Brad also severed ties with Huvanes’ bro, which S. Huvane could have considered ANOTHER indirect slap in his face. It would take a paranoid egotist to think like this, but…if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…
