Angelina Jolie Cancels Movie Premiere?
Angelina Jolie’s twins may arrive sooner than expected!
The world premiere of her new movie, Wanted, has unexpectedly been canceled. It was supposed to take place tomorrow, Thursday, June 12, in London’s Leicester Square.
Yesterday, the Wanted cast (sans Angie) promoted the film in Berlin at a photocall (including James McAvoy).
Insiders tell Star that doctors has advised Ms. Jolie not to travel away from the south of France, where she and partner Brad Pitt have been living with their four children.
Wanted opens everywhere on Friday, June 27.

Why would they cancel a film premier just b/c one of the stars is unable to attend? Perhaps because it is Angie? She will not be traveling for a while. Will they actually postpone the release of the film until she safely delivers? Twins are commonly delivered earlier than the due date.
Her due date is less than 2 months away. Normally flying is forbidden in the third trimester and twins pose an extra concern.
At any rate, I wish them well.

Man, we missed a good opportunity if that was the case. However, I’m glad she cancelled if it could have jeopardized her health and the babies’. We don’t have to see her in the premiere to watch the movie. We will be there to support her anytime.
Oh, she is definitely that important. When she has those babies she’ll be the leading story in every news outlet, tabloid or legit.

If you read the statement again, it says that the world premier has unexpectedly been cancelled but it does not state Angelina is the cause of the cancellation. Further down it mentions another source stating that she has been told not to travel at this time. We are putting the two together and jumping to the conclusion that her absence is the reason. Perhaps there is another reason.

Hope she is doing OK, and it’s just a precautionary measure of her doctors and not that there is real cause for worry, of course the twins could survive if they are born now, but it still wouldn’t be that good, being born 2 months early. And yes, sad that we won’t see the premiere now, but I’m not sure she had planned on going anyway, since she said she wanted to be out of spotlight for at least 1-2 months after Cannes.

Like wtf? she’s doing press for her films, she has to talk and did talk. Now that she’s donw and is quiet and tucked away for some relaxation and probably bed rest. everyone is like where is she? Normally I dont really about this except I think it is odd how often he mentions the fact that Gwyn dated Brad. He mentioned Brad’s as s when his own pants fell during a concert ..and has mentioned Brad at least a couple of other times. I just find it odd and kind of insecure on his part. Brad Pitt and Radiohead…he just seems obsessed with both.
The tabs are also beyond ridiculous, one has Angelina “pushing” Brad away and the best is OK (us edition) which has a cover of Shiloh with quotes asking”where are my sisters?” LOL!!!!!!! I have a funny feeling that this movie promoted without Angie will suffer a box office setback. They cancelled two premieres abroad without giving real reasons why. If they cancel the premiere in usa then you just might as well put a nail in the coffin. Granted the picture is action packed, but without Angie out there promoting on the red carpet, I think it’s likely the picture will be opened in the teens. What do you guys think?

Buzz up!Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are about to face off…on the big screen.
Jolie’s drama Changeling and Aniston’s romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You are both scheduled to be released October 24, Usmagazine.com has confirmed. (Changeling will be out in limited release before going wide October 31.)

Jolie — who earns $12-15 million a movie — is already generating Oscar buzz for her role a mother whose son is kidnapped (”her performance hits home,” a Variety critic wrote).
Meanwhile, Aniston — who rakes in an estimated $8 million a movie — plays Ben Affleck’s love interest in the adaptation of the best-selling relationship book.
So who’s the bigger box office draw?
Aniston, says Brandon Gray, the president and publisher of Box Office Mojo.
“Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie,” he tells Us.

A source familiar with the plans for the chosen twins’ nursery says that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a difficult time settling on a design for the room. Like many a Hollywood couple, they initially consulted with representatives of Beverly Hills’ baby store Petit Tresor for a plan, but when Pitt and Jolie couldn’t come to an agreement on theme, a psychic was brought in to settle on a plan.
“It’s totally true,” says a source familiar with the meeting. “The psychic was to determine the ‘vibe’ of the twins.”
Apparently it was determined the vibe was more girly than modern.

I think having one international premeire cancelled is no issue at all. The vast majority of movie goers do not pay attention to premeirs. Also, critics don’t have to go to a premeire to seer the movie to critique it, They can get a copy from the studio.

So sorry for the confusion. I didn’t mean to post to make it seem I thought JA was better…I was just forwarding some info. I received via email and b/c I’m at work I had to get off the net after posting.
Of course, this is to drum up sell and get JA fans out to the movies in October. You’re right, the writer never mentions all of AJ’s success and even though some did not thing Beyond Borders was good…I personally loved it! There are so many files AJ has done that she shows so much emotion…I especially loved “Life or something like it”.
Someone mentioned that rarely AJ is in a secondary role, mostly the lead…and this is true she was the first woman to carry her own action movie by herself (TR series), she can cross many lines or genre’s and pull it off to a T. She’s still trying to get the comedy thing down…but from reading the EW article, she’s serious but can be silly at times.
As for JA…the only role she can play is comedy and not that well. All of her movies are centered around that. She can’t do a drama or action movie because her viewers only see her as one type of character. Just like I can’t see SJP doing an action or drama…she’s the romantic comedy actress…both of them…they have no range. JA, IMO, truly has no range when it comes to acting…
AJ is so smart; she even explains why AMH didn’t fair so well. JA would have just blamed it on the director, script or cast members. She doesn’t understand the audience of the atmosphere of a movie. You truly have to be a person with an open mind or a true movie lover to get AMH…That why it was applaud and received so well at Cannes last year…those people know movies, art and what it stands for not just the run of the mill kind of comedy flop…we’re talking Big Dogs with know how.

Buzz up!Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are about to face off…on the big screen.
Jolie’s drama Changeling and Aniston’s romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You are both scheduled to be released October 24, Usmagazine.com has confirmed. (Changeling will be out in limited release before going wide October 31.)

Jolie — who earns $12-15 million a movie — is already generating Oscar buzz for her role a mother whose son is kidnapped (”her performance hits home,” a Variety critic wrote).
Meanwhile, Aniston — who rakes in an estimated $8 million a movie — plays Ben Affleck’s love interest in the adaptation of the best-selling relationship book.
So who’s the bigger box office draw?
Aniston, says Brandon Gray, the president and publisher of Box Office Mojo.
“Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie,” he tells Us.
“Angelina has tried to have variety in her career, but time and time again, she goes back to these vixen or bad girl roles,” Gray adds. “She’s had some success in those, but when she’s strayed from it, she’s flopped.” (He cited 2003’s Beyond Borders and 2007’s A Mighty Heart as examples.)
Aniston, he said, “has carried successful pictures like The Break Up and Along Came Polly.”

Hi soopx. :D I’m doing great, thanks. Oklahoma sounds beautiful. :) It’s really hot in California right now, but not as hot as the weather on the east coast. I miss seeing the JPs too but I’m really glad that they’re able to have privacy and to wait for the babies’ birth in peace. We’ll get fresh news about them soon enough. :) The two angels will be beautiful, I’m sure. They can’t go wrong with their gene pool, lol.

Wow, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy and Common are all wonderful actors who could have pulled off a world premier nicely without the leading lady. It’s unfortunate the media only focuses in on Jolie. I don’t think she would have wanted her costars to get less press because she couldn’t physically be there to support the movie…
Hey, I would have been happy seeing James on the red carpet solo!!

i read that article. I like Brandon Gray, but his statement is true and not true. Let me explain, believe me I did the research. I took all the movies Angelina and Jennifer did from 2001 to present; the one’s they carried. For example I didn’t add in Alexander for Angelina or Bruce Almighty for Jennifer. You can have a co-star and still carry a movie, by being on equal footing with your co-star like Jennifer in The Break up and Angelina in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Fair is Fair. Jennifer had 6 movies and Angelina had 8 during this period. All Jennifer movies made money, but all of her movies were generally lower budget. Angelina had a couple that didn’t make money. One was Without borders, A mighty heart actually made more than the production cost. Jennifer’s movies for that period made over 500 and a half million dollars, Angelina’s made over 1 BILLION. This is counting U.S. and International gross. Money is Money. I would say the biggest difference is Angelina didn’t always play to the audience. By that I mean she took chances and did challenging movie roles. She has a more diversified range of roles. Jennifer for the most part stuck to the same type of roles. Neither is a bad thing if it’s what you want to do. btw Brad’s movies for the same period made over 2.5 BILLION.

They cancelled the premiere for her ??? who they could have done it without her. She’s not the only actress in the movie.

It was cancelled abou a week or so ago. This isn’t really NEW news, so it wouldn’t be based on Angelina’s CURRENT condition.
