Angelina Jolie Cancels Movie Premiere?
Angelina Jolie’s twins may arrive sooner than expected!
The world premiere of her new movie, Wanted, has unexpectedly been canceled. It was supposed to take place tomorrow, Thursday, June 12, in London’s Leicester Square.
Yesterday, the Wanted cast (sans Angie) promoted the film in Berlin at a photocall (including James McAvoy).
Insiders tell Star that doctors has advised Ms. Jolie not to travel away from the south of France, where she and partner Brad Pitt have been living with their four children.
Wanted opens everywhere on Friday, June 27.

I have a funny feeling that this movie promoted without Angie will suffer a box office setback. They cancelled two premieres abroad without giving real reasons why. If they cancel the premiere in usa then you just might as well put a nail in the coffin. Granted the picture is action packed, but without Angie out there promoting on the red carpet, I think it’s likely the picture will be opened in the teens. What do you guys think?

tita, that is so bizarre..Even if it’s a tiny premiere (I’ve been to some of those, where the red carpet is as small as a welcome mat LOL) it’s still like an official debut for the film. How are the critics gonna review this film? Are there any reviews anywhere?

Buzz up!Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are about to face off…on the big screen.
Jolie’s drama Changeling and Aniston’s romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You are both scheduled to be released October 24, Usmagazine.com has confirmed. (Changeling will be out in limited release before going wide October 31.)

Jolie — who earns $12-15 million a movie — is already generating Oscar buzz for her role a mother whose son is kidnapped (”her performance hits home,” a Variety critic wrote).
Meanwhile, Aniston — who rakes in an estimated $8 million a movie — plays Ben Affleck’s love interest in the adaptation of the best-selling relationship book.
So who’s the bigger box office draw?
Aniston, says Brandon Gray, the president and publisher of Box Office Mojo.
“Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie,” he tells Us.
“Angelina has tried to have variety in her career, but time and time again, she goes back to these vixen or bad girl roles,” Gray adds. “She’s had some success in those, but when she’s strayed from it, she’s flopped.” (He cited 2003’s Beyond Borders and 2007’s A Mighty Heart as examples.)
Aniston, he said, “has carried successful pictures like The Break Up and Along Came Polly.”

I am sure Angie has permission in her contract to be excused for medical reasons. Premier or not, this looks like a great action movie. I could hardly wait to see it in California.

I can see the spin is already starting. If this movie does indeed bomb, the JP fans will say it’s all because “heavily-pregnant” Angie couldn’t attend the premiere.

Scoop: Jolie, Pitt Nursery Designer Guided By Psychic
A source familiar with the plans for the chosen twins’ nursery says that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a difficult time settling on a design for the room. Like many a Hollywood couple, they initially consulted with representatives of Beverly Hills’ baby store Petit Tresor for a plan, but when Pitt and Jolie couldn’t come to an agreement on theme, a psychic was brought in to settle on a plan.
“It’s totally true,” says a source familiar with the meeting. “The psychic was to determine the ‘vibe’ of the twins.”
Apparently it was determined the vibe was more girly than modern.
“Brad wanted a nursery filled with furniture with ‘clean lines’ - sort if ’60s modern and lots of natural wood colors and whites,” the source says. “Angelina was much more interested in creating a classic European nursery.”
The end result: Petit Tresor got to work stocking the nursery with organza bassinets with pink bows, pink Versailles-style cribs with matching changing tables and armoires, and custom-made crystal chandeliers made in France. The source reports that the total cost of the nursery is actually less than what has been reported thus far. “(The reported) $140,000 is a bit high,” the source says. “It may only be about $100,000.” Bargain
