OlderDemi Lovato is Bangin’ at Camp Rock Premiere
Rising actress Demi Lovato is all smiles at the premiere of her new movie, Camp Rock on Wednesday in New York City.
In the film, Lovato, 15, plays Mitchie Torres, the female protagonist of the movie. She isn’t very rich, but had always wanted to go to Camp Rock. In order to do that, she had to work along with her mother, Connie, in the kitchen and mess halls. Mitchie lied about her “fabulous” life and pretended to have rich and famous parents, like everybody else. But when her secret got out, Tess blamed Mitchie and her friend, Caitlyn, for stealing her charm bracelet, which led to banning Mitchie from camp activities. She sang a song (”This is Me”) and Shane overheard her singing it. He was determined to find her because Mitchie’s song reminded him of the music he used to like, but because Shane had never even seen Mitchie sing the song, he would have difficulty finding out that it was her singing it.

#7th comment…I have to say something….that was all in the commercails on Disney for camp rock because I already knew about that. Just Jared is doing a great job so stop bashing them for giving us news on celebs!! Jared you are doing a great job and dont listen to people like them.
Demi Lovato is so pretty and is a great role model just like selena they are both better than miley…i like miley but clearkly selena and demi have not done as much damage as she has. DELENA ROCKS!!

hey, demi… truly, in camp rock, you didn’t wear so much makeup and yet you still look pretty. this might sound chlieche-ish, but you really don’t need alot of makeup even if you’re a movie star and you’re in hollywood. trust me- i mean this in a nice way– just like camp rock– don’t fit in, stand out! I dunno why people sayMmiley can’t sing and how she’s only famous because of her dad. Hannah Montana is a KIDS show. You think that 8 year old girls love the show and say “because she’s Billy Ray’s daughter”? Why would a little girl even know that? They obviously like her because of her talent not because she’s related to someone famous that THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW! So get over it and shut up.
NO, I don’t like Miley, but I’m not going to hate for no reason. In fact, I don’t like any Disney star because all their shows are so lame and the movie plots are all the same: they have to conquer their fears and go for their dreams at all costs. BIG WHOOP.
Camp Rock was WORSE than High School Musical. The plot was so stupid. Her mom tells her “sorry you can’t go to Camp Rock” and I left the room to go pee and when I came back she was at the camp. How stupid. BUT the actors were better. Demi was really good at playing the part of Mitchie. She really acted like she was insecure. And who knew Joe Jonas could act? I HATED the Jonas Brothers before (that is not my style of music) but I have some respect for them now.
I think Demi will make it big, but can she REALLY surpass Miley’s fame with the “Best of Both Worlds” tour? I doubt it, but I think she is better than Miley. That’s just my OPINION, so feel free to object; just don’t dub me a hater.
