Ashley Tisdale’s Mom: My Daughter Doesn’t Have AIDS!
Last week, High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale was the victim of a false Internet rumor claiming she was dying from AIDS. And now Tizz’s mother is speaking out!
“My daughter is healthy and just fine — but my husband and I just don’t know why anyone would spread such a rumor,” Ashley’s mom, Lisa Tisdale, 52, told Star at the family home in Toluca Lake, Calif. “And what really upsets me is that anyone can write anything, and it ends up on the Internet. It’s so irresponsible; so many people will just assume it’s a fact.”
FYI: The rumor was that Ashley only had six months to live after being diagnosed with the HIV virus, possibly acquired from “contaminated equipment” used during her Nov. 30 nose job.

you can get HIV from a nose job, its the equipment that they used on her that could have been contaminated. some people could have not cleaned all the utensils well, it has happened. but thank god the rumor is false.

It amazed me how many people actually believed that she got HIV from a nose job. I thought everyone know it couldn’t be transmitted by something like that. I’m not a huge fan of her but I think she has talent and it is pathetic how someone who do that to anyone no matter how much you don’t like them have a little class.

the HIV “rumors” are not actually rumors at all, they are fact. Her mother is trying to hide it from the public because she did not think it was a good time to make it public yet. There are however rumors circulating now that she does an assortment of hard drugs.

Patti McTeague, spokeswoman for Disney, has her hands full on a Friday night. McTeague is frantically trying to reign in a Disney press release that could cast a moral shadow over actress and singer Ashley Tisdale, best known for playing Sharpay Evans in High School Musical.
When Tisdale was diagnosed with HIV this week after an unconscious collapse turned hospital visit, McTeague made a hasty move to try to draw attention away from immediate rumors about Tisdale’s drug addiction. A recanted press release issued Thursday evening pointed toward Tisdale’s rhinoplasty last November as the source of the infection. According to an unnamed employee at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, where the operation was performed, there would have been no blood transfusion, and an inconceivably low chance that unsterilized equipment was to blame. “It’s just not a viable explanation in the context of modern medicine,” says the
employee.
With Disney’s first story already showing signs of weakness, it quickly fell under attack from parental advocacy groups who demanded that the story be completely pulled, as Tisdale’s fan-sites and message boards are frequented by children. The original releases and reactions to them were clumsily hidden, leaving many websites temporarily down or closed to new member registrations Friday morning.
In a report first published by People, and echoed by CNN and others, Tisdale’s own representative, Scott Appel adopted Disney’s new take and happily blurted out assurances of the star’s health, leading many to question the likelihood of an attempted cover-up. At the time of press, all we know for certain is that Tisdale is currently working on High School Musical 3, shooting in Salt Lake City, UT.

Oh man you people have no respect no chrisma no chance in being enything else..Oh well since reading your comments i’m absolutely confused about what you people say i most defenitly agree with chelsey k about what she said on why the fans and haters or i say dislikers i don’t think enyone should be a hater because hate is a big word and pretty much enyone who hates someone basically hates themselves so i’m trying to get that through but not all do geez some mostly feel great about themselves and still be haters but hate cause they still wish that they can look or act better when they’re a hater of someone else.But what i’ve basically thought of is that the fans are fighting not just for their favorite actress/actor/singers they’re fighting for respect that no one should be hater you can dislike them but not a hater,and the hater are just people that just like to be mean because of peer pressure or because they themselves have been bullied they just probably just want to feel good about themselves by coming on places like this and doing the same thing to a famous person or regular person,i do think that it’s something to help them but it’s not good yeah it makes you feel good but at the end of the day what more you really have really..Or they’re just people who just enjoy making people feel for their own ways of torrchering one another it’s not good for you not for them.I personitly don’t have too much of a problem with her shes just a girl in my book so shes ok i guess,so please just get that and fans i know you wanna stick up for your favorite star but it’s not
