Guys, I couldn’t watch it either. But I lied! xD, it asked me where I’m from (I live in Latin America), I just clicked USA and I watched it!.

I my opinion, the video is kinda fun. I’m a big fan of Vanessa, but honestly the song is not “my type”. I mean, I loved Drive, ´Lose your love, Promise, Afraid, Let’s dance and all her first album songs. “Sneakernight” was made to be heard like, twice a week.
Idk, I just hope I like the rest of the songs. Anyway, I’ll buy her album that same July 1st.

Her album didn’t get a bunch of excellent reviews for nothing, and she worked really hard to get to where she is today. So what if it took a nude picture scandal for her to get to where she is now? The point is - she is now stronger than ever, and that’s worth admiring.

Vanessa looked good I will give her that but the song and the video suck… a lot. Completely agree, #99! I wasn’t sure about the song when I first heard it…now, it’s truly one of the songs I turn up loud in my car…it makes me smile…I enjoy the beat and it makes me want to move. I’ve been waiting on the video and it did not disappoint. No, it’s not rocket science, but it’s a fun video, what I’d been expecting, so I’m happy with it. And the sneakers are really cute. :-)

I agree about the having fun and the fashion. I’ve always loved the song minus the lyrics ( her vocals, arrangement and the beat) however, I think this video fleshes out the lyrics. It’s all about dancing.

I love the video. It was fun, funky and fresh. I think it struck the middle ground between the age range of her fans which was good and necessary. V looked gorgeous and hot as always and the dancing was really good.

I have to say, i agree. she won’t gain much respect if she sticks with Hollywood Records, & she isn’t gaining much respect from her own record label in the present. she had very little or no promotion for her new album, & if it weren’t for the dedicated & loyal fans she probably would have less (if that’s even possible). she didn’t have much promotion for her first album, aswell. but it was more known she was coming out w/ an album due to the success of HSM, & since it was her 1st album. she was also a newcomer, in a way. i’m very disappointed w/ Hollywood Records. i can understand all the fuss they make over Miley Cyrus, considering she is now the highest paid female celebrity of the planet, but they shouldn’t take any promotion away from vanessa. she deserves, just in my opinion, more promotion, because to me she has much more singing ability than miley or the jonas brothers, who i believe all to be way overrated, but that’s just me. Hollywood Records also needs to pay attention to their clients who have the most talent, not just the ones who have the bigger (young) fan bases. if i were Vanessa, after the 2nd album, i would unsign to them in a heart-beat. they were so desperate to have Vanessa in their label after her popularity from HSM, but now they’ve practically brushed her aside & put their focus on the “better” artists. pfft, better as in money.

i’m extremely pleased on how her album is turning out. :-) she had great producers, such as J R Rotem, & rumor has it that Hilary Duff, Timbaland, & Jesse McCartney have written songs for the album. I’m not sure if the Hilary Duff is scratched out, but I think it might be. i have a feeling her album is going to do very well, but imagine the success it would have if she at least had a little more promotion! XD

also - i’m officially addicted to the music video! MUCH better than her previous music videos. the haters here are the ones who keep watching the music video over & over again. they’re all saying it’s “cheesy” or that they dis-like the song. i don’t see what’s cheesy about dancing, & I highly doubt those who claim to hate the song have listened to it fully, listened intently, or have a high IQ. it’s not a song about sneakers, it’s a song about DANCING. unless you prefer to dance in other uncomfortable shoes than comfortable shoes, such as sneakers, you really have no reason to be complaining. & whoever brought out the song “Umbrella” was genius! that song had less of a purpose or meaning than “Sneakernight” & basically all she sang was “you can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh”, yet it turned out to be a HUMONGOUS hit. if all you can complain about Vanessa’s single is that she implies sneakers in it, you most likely are just some big, ignorant pessimist who won’t look for the good in anything or can’t enjoy a good, catchy, unique dance song. why don’t you go listen to Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” instead? The own title of the song is gramatically incorrect, yet that song had no problem becoming a huge hit. BACK OFF, HATERS!!!

Um…if you knew anything about the music buisness, or have been alive for more than 15 years, you’d be aware that you can’t just ‘bust out’ of a disney-like phase without warning. It backfired on people like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus when they tried to go from angel to devil by shaking off their clean images.

She’s easing her way out of it, which is smart, and probably something Ashley Tisdale should have done. Because a lot of her songs make her sound downright ridiculous, especially when she talks about ‘touching like that’. Please. I think it’s better to still be considered a partial Disney girl, than a total sell-out and a fake.

I loved it, loved it loved it. That has to be the best video, her clothes are awesome and her shoes. She look really pretty, and her legs are perfect. She really nailed this one and i have watched like 30times. her voice sounded perfect. man i can’t wait for her album.
