Vanity Fair has charted the most influential blogs about politics, gossip, Hollywood, media, and miscellany, and located them on two basic continuums: tone and content. From “news” vs “opinion” and “earnest” vs “scurrilous”, Just Jared fell into the “Earnest and Opinion” category. Here’s what the mag wrote about JustJared.com:
“Just Jared: Kinder, gentler celebrity-gossip blog, chockablock with exclamation points!”
Score!!!!!! Interestingly enough, Vanity Fair chose Angelina Jolie as this blog’s icon. Hmmm, wonder why!!!!!
Also, JustJared.com is the only celebrity gossip blog in the lower right-hand quadrant (+X, -Y), alongside online news website Huffington Post, techie blog Boing Boing and fashion blog The Sartorialist.

I have educated myself from different aspects and cultures, especially the Jolie and Pitt’s family in the past 2 years. I discovered your site through Perez Hilton’s site since then I’ve stopped coming to Perez Hilton’s site. I love the JoliePitt’s family and your site is the great resource about them and I love the BAMPZS’s fans…they are the most intelligent, rational and devoted fans I ever know.

I hear you, Original JPF. See post #233. Don’t need to name anyone else because the others do it in fun, not out of obsession and not CONSTANTLY bringing up someone who has NOTHING to do with Brad and Angelina or their continued success.
I post on other threads to support Jared and his fun site, but this is why the Email Group didn’t allow the loonies when we want to celebrate Brad and Angie. Even with the Email Group, we still support Jared, but so many of us just have to roll our eyes at some of the people on here.
It’s good to see some old names. Where’s Passing Through — she’s the coolest, funniest and most informed poster on Jared’s threads! Love seeing The Real Lou’s sensible and intelligent posts, and Lylian always makes you think about what she says, and then feel strongly about it with equal pleasure. Such great people Jared has attracted and drawn together. Piper with a Low is another great poster. So many…. They surely outnumber the very few weirdos who are so insignificant in comparison.

IMO…..In house bickering is the most unattractive part of JJ’s..
there are so many great fans new and old, so many do lurk
now because of the ‘X’ factor…..and yes it does go to overload..
that is when I lurk, split, or scroll over…. each to it’s own, But
stuck in the past, IMO is like going out of the world backwards.
I truly think Brad and Angie, would love the on going assocation
to end, as much as some fans… But in this world of many,many
opinions the duel hating will go on.. to see the JP fans move on
would be great Ha! but I’m not betting the Condo on it.. :lol:
I personally, am booked solid with my own issues, and have no
time to judge or care about how other fans do their thing …. only
