OlderVanity Fair Features Just Jared!!!
Vanity Fair has charted the most influential blogs about politics, gossip, Hollywood, media, and miscellany, and located them on two basic continuums: tone and content. From “news” vs “opinion” and “earnest” vs “scurrilous”, Just Jared fell into the “Earnest and Opinion” category. Here’s what the mag wrote about JustJared.com:
“Just Jared: Kinder, gentler celebrity-gossip blog, chockablock with exclamation points!”
Score!!!!!! Interestingly enough, Vanity Fair chose Angelina Jolie as this blog’s icon. Hmmm, wonder why!!!!!
Also, JustJared.com is the only celebrity gossip blog in the lower right-hand quadrant (+X, -Y), alongside online news website Huffington Post, techie blog Boing Boing and fashion blog The Sartorialist.

I’ve had a crappy week and this just put the biggest smile on my face, to see JJ getting recognized for keeping it real and keeping it clean. He’s done the best job ever of cleaning up the trolls’ ‘messes’ when they can’t seem to hold in their verbal cr*p.

hi guli!
long story short. was in London and traveling Europe most of 2007 so i didn’t have time to read comments. and there was just lots of craziness on JJ that i stepped away for a long break. i still checked JJ everyday, just not the comments. but now i’ve got more time so i’ve been lurking for the past months. glad to return, but i’ve never been a great poster anyways. PT’s comments alone are worth coming back for.
i hope your family is doing well, and i know you’ll have a great time at your home in Turkey this summer.
