Sophia Bush’s Summer Switches
One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush gets the summer started with a barbecue at Switch Boutique in Beverly Hills on Monday.
DJ AM attended the festivities and posed with Sophia at his turntables. Actress Julia Cohen was also on-hand and was greeted with a big kiss from Ms. Bush!
Earlier today, it was reported that the 25-year-old actress spoke out about her split from actor Jon Foster.

If your going to sit there and compare Maxim to Playboy, then apparently you’ve never looked through either magazine. Maxim features hot, sexy, beautiful women and they are all always covered.
Playboy also features beautiful women, but unlike Maxim, Playboy actually shows women completely NAKED.
So there is a HUGE difference between the two…..one features naked women and the other does not. And if you looked at any of Sophia’s pictures in the magazine….which I did, you’d see that her outfits covered her up pretty good. She showed her legs like most women do for any kind of magazine and half of her stomach in one picture. So what??????
Just to let you know in case you didn’t, Maxim has featured women without clothing in some editions in other countries. Anything featured in Maxim is usually sexual and provocative. And once again, women in them magazine are showcased to males. It might be a step down from Playboy, but it’s still considered a men’s magazine.
I agree that Sophia is actually quite a weak, mediocre actress. She has an acting calibre along the likes of Rachel Bilson, who I noticed also gets featured here regularly. I really think she should get an acting coach. She’s still young enough to work on it.
But Sophia was featured in the US edition and the whole point of this stupid conversation is that Sophia was wearing CLOTHESSSSS people. Hilarie and Daneel were also featured in the magazine right alongside Sophia, so are you trying to make some kind of point here???
Maxim is considered a men’s magazine….that’s no lie. But all three girls were photographed tastefully. Were they naked….no. Were they wearing little tiny bikini’s like some other girls have done in the magazine….no. So why blow this all out of proportion?
Personally, I have to completely disagree with you on the whole “weak” actress thing. I’m not gonna sit here and name any people but there are others on the show, who do far worse and need acting coaches. I happen to think that Sophia is one of the bests on the show. And Rachel Bilson is nowhere as talented as Sophia is, so to me, comparing those two is like comparing apples and oranges. I have nothing against Rachel, but I think that Sophia is a wonderful actress.

If people don’t think she’s a good actress (I don’t think she’s particularly talented either) it is their opinion and they can state it. You don’t need to lambast them.
I really liked Sophia before she went all Hollywood. She seemed so down to earth and graceful. She’s lost that quality. In fact, now she seems to have this air…as if she’s better than others and I don’t like that change in her.
This new hairdo isn’t very flattering either. Sophia looks better with darker hair.
I think Sophia is an extremely talented actress. She’s one of my favorites. I don’t know what you mean by “she went all Hollywood”. She still has that same down to earth and charming personality she’s always had. Some people just think that since she goes out a lot to events and stuff, that she’s not the same anymore. I just recently met her not too long ago in Wilmington and I just thought she was like the sweetest person ever. I was really nervous to meet her but she made feel so welcome and gave me like ten hugs because she knew I was nervous. She really makes you feel as if your one of her best friends and she is always smiling. Thats one of the things that I love about her.

I will admit Sophia is not my favourite actress but she is still extremely talented and very beautiful, she does not deserve all of these childish insults.

She is so…average looking. She’s another one of those actresses that get praised for looks…that are just so generic. She looks like any other girl I might see at my university.
Whatever…..Sophia is BEAUTIFUL and RAVISHING. She can pull off any look she wants. There are only a handful of actresses in Hollywood who don’t look like average, everyday women but instead look quite exquisite. And Sophia happens to be one of them. I don’t think her looks are generic at all but rather striking.
