Ben Affleck poses with his little girl Violet Affleck on her first day of preschool in Los Angeles on Monday.
Ben, 35, and wife Jennifer Garner , 36, took their 2 1/2-year-old daughter to school where she picked up some paint on her sleeves! Ben got into the spirit of things by wearing a “Ben” nametag on his shirt!

I have numerously seen rude comments about Violet on this site and frankly its very rude and obnoxious. You folks need to get a life seriously. She is a kid for god sakes! They all should be left alone they mind there own business not hurt anyone and some of your folks feel the need to throw bullets at them its pathetic. The Paps need to back off to what do they think they are going to get from them when they take pics of them its the same shocked faces and annoyed faces by Ben and Jenn nothing new.

I like them as a couple and a family and the baby is adorable. But, why is Ben posting for paparazzi with his child? I thought he learned from the Jen years not to make his life a sideshow.
His child should not be put in tabloids. He had to know if he posed for a pic outside it would be all over the mags.

#21, I think the story saying he “posed” is a bit misleading. The whole series of shots are on a photo site. They show them walking.
When he is holding V. like this, he is waiting for Jen to exit the car. The camera zoomed in for this shot.
From looking at the whole series of shots………….I highly doubt Ben and Jen “posed” for these pics.

I was never really a fan of Ben, but after he settled down with Jen G.(whom I’ve always really liked) he seemed to change and appeared to be more down to earth and less arrogant, so I’ve changed my mind about him… I think that this is one really “cool” Hollywood fam because they do their best to be so un-Hollywood and create a down to earth normalcy for their daughter… I love that.
Violet is absolutely precious. Beautiful little girl. :)

Don’t you know baby teeth fall out and beautiful permanent teeth come in? If they’re not beautiful porcelain veneers will make them that way. Don’t you know (morons) that ears can be pinned back with a 20 minute surgical procedure? Don’t you know that this family did not ask to be photographed picking up their child from pre-school? Don’t you know that you are dumb as dumb gets?

# 39 I would have to repsectfully disagree with you. This family is one of the least pretencious, media-fame-$$$-hungry out there in the celeb world today. To me they appear to shun media/pap invasion (they cannot control if paps take their pics when out in public) and try to the best of their ability to live their lives in a relatively low-key, normal manner unlike so many other celebs out there who play the “game” of celebhood at a nauseating level… i.e.: The Beckhams’ (they are just gross), The Cruises’ (they are plain “creepy”, P. Hilton, L. Lohan, etc… Jen and Ben have not allowed their “celebrity” to overcome their daily lives- that is to be commended. My opinion…

Violet is such a cutie patootie! Always so happy and cheerful, a real sunshine kid. But I guess with Jen and Ben as parents, you can’t be any differnt than be a great kid. She looks so much like Jennifer in these photos. Hope that she’ll have a baby brother or sister soon, now that she’s a big girl and goes to school, she’d make a great big sister.

SUNSHINE SMILES TODAY! So sweet and touching to see the 3 MUSKETEERS together again. Ben is my dream boy and wish him and his family all the best. He has been going in the right direction for sometime now and that is wonderful to see.

Some haters are never happy. Where is Ben, where is Ben? Then there are pics of Ben in Canada, reports that he was filming in Africa, and now with Jen and V. But, then people post that they are putting on a front.
Well, maybe they feel that they don’t have to “flaunt it” in front of everyone. I don’t need pics of them kissing at the celetics game. Or like Katie and Tom, where they pose outside a hotel.
The paps follow them, now that they are back in LA. While in Boston we rarely saw pics of any of them.
Just because Ben doesn’t go to CVS with Jen doesn’t mean they are not together. God some people just can’t be happy and have to tear other down.
BESIDES, look at Jen’s ring finger, not only is she wearing her wedding band, but the extra ring that Ben gave her when V. was born.

Umm… he’s got a name tag on, there are kids around, and he’s coming out of a gated area in one pic… how is he posing for the paparazzi? They’re at a school function. Of course they need to do it. What are they supposed to do, tell the school… “No, we can’t be involved in the school or go to functions because we’re celebrities and might have our or our daughter’s picture taken.” None of the pictures are “posed”… they’re moving in every photo. So you’re posing comment is not applicable… at all

Anyone talking about the child’s ears or teeth is just wrong. Most kids have ears that are a little large or stick out a little. They grow into them and sleeping on their side usually takes care of the “sticking out” issue. Teeth? Please, nobody’s teeth grow in 100% straight or in any kind of perfect order. Plus, gaps often close, remember, they’re just baby teeth. Neither of these “issues” takes away from how cute a kid is… it actually often enhances it. And I still don’t get what compels people to talk down about a child.

I also don’t understand the talk about Jen “pimping” Violet out to the paparazzi. Just because she’s a celebrity she’s not supposed to do the things that normal parents do with their children? Please. If she didn’t y’all would be complaining that the child is a) never seen and b) will grow up not knowing what normal people are supposed to do. Plus, stick a photographer shouting out names and clicking photos left and right into a situation with a child and they’re going to look. For one, kids have their picture taken at home all the time and hear “Look at me / the camera” and for another thing, children are curious of their surroundings. If Violet *didn’t* look, I’d be a bit concerned.

I think it’s when paparazzi show up certain situations she gets annoyed. (Like… okay fine, public street, whatever… but school? that kind of thing) I could be wrong, but that’s my take on it.
This cute little family sure does take all the stalking in stride. Little Violet is a golden ray of sunshine. Her face looks like she lives in a happy environment. She really does have fun and make the best of it.
I just love little baby Violet, she is just the cutest little girl. :)

I think this child is actually going to grow up to be beautiful. I can see it right now. Affleck is very handsome, especially when he is thin. Garner looks homely because she barely ever wears makeup. She just goes outside natural and she can do that because she has a fresh face. All she would have to do is put on a little mascara and lipgloss and she’s ready to roll.
Violet has nice features. That’s what gives these kids their beauty.

I’m sure these two try to be normal but they are soooo not! Normal people do not go looking to buy $27 million dollar homes with paps. in tow. Jennifer loves the paps., trust me if she wanted to avoid them she could. As long as they are in Hollywood they have no chance of ever being normal or down to earth.
I love that 1st pic of Vi and her dad. It’s like Jen has always said, Violet look like both of them. She is a very adorable toddler and she will be even cuter when she gets older. Her eyebrows are so light that don’t show in pics and her permanent teeth will fill that space in front. She has beautiful features.. ie ..her moms full lips and dimples and her dad eyes, nose and cleft chin. Both her parents were blonde as kids which means her hair will also be dark.

she is so cute! love her dimples. my little girl wears the same little hair clips as violet affleck from adour couture boutique. my little claire suri has these same polka dot heart & apple hair clippies as violet affleck-thats so exciting! i like that ben and jen don’t dress her up like some little girls. she is always comfy looking rather than being tied into frilly garments. high five to you guys!
She is precious. Almost every picture of her, she is smiling. Violet must be such a happy girl!
