OlderNicole Richie’s Engagement Dress — Now On Sale!
Nicole Richie heads to traffic school yet again in Van Nuys, Calif. on Wednesday.
Though Nicole’s 2005 plans to wed Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein fell apart a while ago, she held on to a special souvenir: the vintage Halston dress she wore to her engagement party. But now she’s ready to let it go — to your closet!
The gorgeous gold gown — worth more than $10,000 — is being sold at the chic consignment store Fisch for The Hip in New York. At size 0, it may not fit the average shopper, but it’s being sold for the relatively bargain price of $3,000.
“Nicole loved this dress. It’s a piece of art and she was so excited to wear it for her engagement party to Adam,” an insider tells In Touch, pointing out that because Nicole is now with Joel Madden, father of her baby daughter, Harlow, “It was time for a change, obviously.”
Nicole, 26, is reportedly shopping for a new Beverly Hills home with Joel. They just bought a condo in NYC, too.

Princess Leia or Heidi? Only Nicole could sort of pull off that hair. I have mixed feelings about her selling the engagement dress. It is one thing to give it to charity for them to sell it but another to sell it yourself. She has so much money - does she really need an extra 3k. She probably spends more than that one day at Barneys.
I guess the only other person that would fit into this size 0 dress is Victoria Beckham! I like Nicole’s hair in the photos, though the top is way too lose in my opinion, it should at least be a tiny bit figure hugging, and not look like a total bag, I guesst that’s more than a size 0 then ;)

I sincerely don’t get all the fuss about size zero being difficult to fit in. I wear size zero and I’m far from being skinny bony.

14th!!! Hey SunnykidStyle, I don’t think Victoria Beckham would be caught RedHanded wearing seconds from any one’s closet, do you? { love your web site}. But, that is a great bargain for all of you who wear a size 0, and have the place to show it off once in a while. It is almost worth the price just to brag to say where it came from. Nicole looks good though, as Motherhood has really brought out the very best in her.

Hey Victoria, thanks for visiting my blog :) And you are totally right, I really didn’t think Victoria Beckham would ever consider wearing anything second hand. But she was the only person that came to my mind that would actually fit into this dress.
Also hope Nicole keeps the current weight, she looks much prettier, not to say healther of course, since she has put on some female curves.
