Brad Pitt Rocks Out With Radiohead

Brad Pitt meets up with his Fight Club costar Ed Norton to catch a Radiohead concert together at Civica Arena in Milan, Italy on Wednesday night.

Norton has said, “Brad and I had a mutual fixation on the second two Radiohead albums.”

Also at the concert was Mariane Pearl, Brad and Angelina Jolie’s close friend. (Angie starred as Pearl in 2007’s A Mighty Heart.)

Norton’s latest superhero flick, The Incredible Hulk, is out in theaters now. Angie’s action thriller, Wanted, is out in theaters on Friday, June 27. Reviews are already pouring in and it looks like it’s going to be a smash hit!

“Relentless, in-your-face action and a classy cast led by a beefed-up James McAvoy and a heavily tatted Angelina Jolie combine to promise powerful B.O. prospects worldwide for Universal.” — Variety

“This over-the-top, ultraviolent, hyperkinetic action thriller pretty much has it all… The three of them (Jolie, McAvoy and Morgan Freeman) prove to be colorful assets in a film where even the bullets seem to have a personality all their own.” — Hollywood Reporter

Greetings JP fans. To: Cliniqua Your amazing. I felt a tweek in my heart for the continued generousity of Bran and Angie. They truly have large vision that is inclusive of all people who are in need. Brad and Angie always out do themselves when your head is spinning from their previous generousity. The Eric Clapton song ” Change the World” comes to mind. If Jared starts another thread with Brad and Angie’s donation, someone should put a video together with that song. Cliniqua you are funny, a kiss a$$ slap downs of trolls, but I love your teary eyed soft side. I felt that you have all these things going at the appropriate times. Thank you, I enjoy your posts.
I must go for now. Peace

Did anyone catch Charlie Rose yesterday with Jann Wenner of Rolling Stone and Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair? I heard they both talked about their current covers. Barack Obama is on the cover of Rolling Stone and Angelina on the cover of Vanity Fair. What did Graydon say about Angelina being on the cover?

Hey Guli- Did you watch the game? It was a good one. Too bad we lost.

Great news about Jolie-Pitts helping the Iraqi kids. Go Brad and Angie!

Sorry, I meant you’re amazing. Excuse error.

Jolie Pitt SPLIT Sides LAUGHIN @ 06/25/2008 at 5:38 pm

Angelina and Brad of Brangelina fame have split, their sides laughing at the number of ugly middle-aged jealous fans of Jen Aniston who spend their lives spewing venom and crazily posting like rabid bat sh*t crazy rats.

# 1674

Seriously!!! you are so pathetic.

Jolie-Pitt split @ 06/25/2008 at 5:41 pm

I am really Team Angie posing as an angie fan. I feel bad because angie and brad are happy together

Tijen–it was sooo very close but I didn’t expect for them to win….To make it to the final four was GREAT …IMO :-)

Jolie-Pitt @ 06/25/2008 at 5:48 pm

I also feel bad because I’m ugly like Jen Aniston, but unlike her I can’t afford the facial reconstruction…not that it helped Jen…I mean Jen Aniston is still old and ugly.

GIVE IT UP jealous haters.
Brad is not going back to Aniston. No matter what you say, what you do, it ain’t gonna happen. So move on. Get rid of your hate of Angie. ACCEPT her as Brad’s true love, and stop this three-year-long insanity. It is really getting creepy..this obsession of yours with an old Hollywood divorce.

Dina#1—finally I found the video you were looking for……… darn it, it was driving me nuts

Pitt, Jolie give $1 mln to kids impacted by war
Wed Jun 25, 2008 3:58pm EDT

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has given $500,000 to three groups in the war-torn country which will provide aid for some 5,700 children, said the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which is co-chaired by Jolie.

The foundation also gave $500,000 to help children in the United States who have a military parent killed in Iraq, or who are separated from a parent stationed in the country.
The donation for U.S. kids will go to the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program, which will provide educational tutors and counseling to 2,500 kids.

I don’t care what anyone says Brad and Angie are good people. No matter where they are or what is going on in their lives the are always thinking about how to help others in need. This is why I am a fan and will always defend and support them. And this is why the haters and the trolls hate them.

The other day I posted some comments about a billionaire who over several years had donated 5 mill dollars. I forget the exact length of time, but it was not a lump sum, and it was over a period of time. The haters have tried to make light of Brad’s 5mill donation to makeitright. Five million dollars is five million dollars is a h*lla lot of money so said Larry King when Brooke Anderson said something like Brad Pitt had deep pockets. Larry King said what I stated above. People recognize what he and Angie are doing and appreciate. Luv them.

guli, if you are here thank you for being persistent in your search for the video. I found it. The title is Brad the Dad. How simple is that? But wait she did an extended version called Brad the Dad Happy Vacation guli. You and I talked about this video and how much we liked the music, the special effects, how everything fit so well together. Thank you my friend for not giving up. Now you can go on vacation knowing you have helped a friend and a jolie/pitt fan. And I can listen and watch while you are gone. Peace

Can someone e-mail JJ to put up a new thread for the charity donation?

Thank you. I guess as you were posting your message here, I was also posting a message to you here also. I also left you one at JJb’s. Thank you. Peace

You teach your kid that. That explains a lot.

guli, is butterfruit LLM? Maybe that’s why you couldn’t remember because you said LLM made the video, but I notice it is under butterfruit. Peace

team angie @ 06/25/2008 at 6:47 pm

oh please, if i was that poster I would have posted something closer to this…

Angelina moves Billy Bob and jenny Shimizu into her french home.

I just watched one show in Star! and one psychic said that Jennifer is trying to get pregnant and will achieve that goal before the year ends.. She’s not barren after all. If it happens, perhaps it will put an end to to this triangle.

Dina#1–I’ve always known LLM’s youtube name just like I know most of the video makers and their names at JJ’s or at JJB….But just like you if …JP fans have diff names at diff sites…I refer to them with their name at the site :-) Moi…boring as heck, same name at every site I post

The word Trump was long gone in my vocabulary & now ET. Still loving those pictures of very big baby bump of Angie & the girls running around, so precious. Maybe, Angie will give birth on July 19 a month off on what Dustin Hoffman said, how about on the 20th? At any rate, the twins arrival will be a welcome one to a lot of people around the world. Two more days, I will watch “Wanted” with hubby.
Andromeda, how is everything? Hope all is fine.
Waving to all my cyber friends. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Wanted is getting very positive reviews from UK moviewatchers. :)
Today praise was from UK and tomorrow will be from Russia.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Donate to International Rescue Committee Programs for Iraqi Children

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has announced $1 million in donations for children impacted by the Iraq crisis, including $200,000 to support IRC education programs for children living in volatile areas of southern Iraq.

“This generous donation will help restore vital education services for Iraqi children whose schooling was disrupted by ongoing violence,” said George Rupp, president of the International Rescue Committee.

“Once again, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are showing their commitment to aid innocent and ordinary people whose lives have been turned upside down by conflict,” Rupp said. “We hope their dedication will inspire others to help Iraqi families in need.”

The funding will help the IRC rehabilitate three rundown and overcrowded schools in Najaf and Karbala that are struggling to accommodate influxes of displaced Iraqi children. The gift will also be used to provide catch-up classes for children who have missed schooling due to violence and safe recreational areas for children to play.

“These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal,” said Jolie in announcing the donation. “We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations,” Pitt added.

The IRC currently works with local partners in north, central and southern Iraq, as well as Jordan and Syria to deliver critical humanitarian aid for many of the 4 million Iraqis who have been uprooted by years of crisis.

The IRC also works with the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, of which Angelina Jolie is a co-chair along with Gene Sperling. The initiative, launched in 2007, aims to improve access to education for children in emergencies. Its initial campaigns are focusing on Iraq and Darfur, Sudan.

Last year, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated more than $300,000 to support the IRC’s life-saving relief programs for Darfur refugees.

About the IRC A global leader in humanitarian assistance, the International Rescue Committee works in 43 countries offering help and hope to refugees and others uprooted by conflict and oppression. During crises, IRC teams provide health care, shelter, clean water, sanitation, learning and healing programs for children and special aid for women. As emergencies subside, the IRC stays to revive livelihoods and help shattered communities recover and rebuild. The IRC also helps resettle refugees admitted into the United States. A tireless advocate for the most vulnerable, the IRC is committed to restoring hope, dignity and opportunity.
