Brad Pitt Rocks Out With Radiohead
Brad Pitt meets up with his Fight Club costar Ed Norton to catch a Radiohead concert together at Civica Arena in Milan, Italy on Wednesday night.
Norton has said, “Brad and I had a mutual fixation on the second two Radiohead albums.”
Also at the concert was Mariane Pearl, Brad and Angelina Jolie’s close friend. (Angie starred as Pearl in 2007’s A Mighty Heart.)
Norton’s latest superhero flick, The Incredible Hulk, is out in theaters now. Angie’s action thriller, Wanted, is out in theaters on Friday, June 27. Reviews are already pouring in and it looks like it’s going to be a smash hit!
“Relentless, in-your-face action and a classy cast led by a beefed-up James McAvoy and a heavily tatted Angelina Jolie combine to promise powerful B.O. prospects worldwide for Universal.” — Variety
“This over-the-top, ultraviolent, hyperkinetic action thriller pretty much has it all… The three of them (Jolie, McAvoy and Morgan Freeman) prove to be colorful assets in a film where even the bullets seem to have a personality all their own.” — Hollywood Reporter

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Donate to International Rescue Committee Programs for Iraqi Children
The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has announced $1 million in donations for children impacted by the Iraq crisis, including $200,000 to support IRC education programs for children living in volatile areas of southern Iraq.
“This generous donation will help restore vital education services for Iraqi children whose schooling was disrupted by ongoing violence,” said George Rupp, president of the International Rescue Committee.
“Once again, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are showing their commitment to aid innocent and ordinary people whose lives have been turned upside down by conflict,” Rupp said. “We hope their dedication will inspire others to help Iraqi families in need.”
The funding will help the IRC rehabilitate three rundown and overcrowded schools in Najaf and Karbala that are struggling to accommodate influxes of displaced Iraqi children. The gift will also be used to provide catch-up classes for children who have missed schooling due to violence and safe recreational areas for children to play.
“These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal,” said Jolie in announcing the donation. “We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations,” Pitt added.
The IRC currently works with local partners in north, central and southern Iraq, as well as Jordan and Syria to deliver critical humanitarian aid for many of the 4 million Iraqis who have been uprooted by years of crisis.
The IRC also works with the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, of which Angelina Jolie is a co-chair along with Gene Sperling. The initiative, launched in 2007, aims to improve access to education for children in emergencies. Its initial campaigns are focusing on Iraq and Darfur, Sudan.
Last year, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated more than $300,000 to support the IRC’s life-saving relief programs for Darfur refugees.
About the IRC A global leader in humanitarian assistance, the International Rescue Committee works in 43 countries offering help and hope to refugees and others uprooted by conflict and oppression. During crises, IRC teams provide health care, shelter, clean water, sanitation, learning and healing programs for children and special aid for women. As emergencies subside, the IRC stays to revive livelihoods and help shattered communities recover and rebuild. The IRC also helps resettle refugees admitted into the United States. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million for educational aid to children impacted by the Iraq war in that country and in the United States, a charitable organization said on Wednesday.
The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has given $500,000 to three groups in the war-torn country which will provide aid for some 5,700 children, said the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which is co-chaired by Jolie.
Money will pay for basic necessities, including books and supplies to help send Iraqi children to school. Aid will also go to refugee kids, and to school rehabilitation programs.
The foundation also gave $500,000 to help children in the United States who have a military parent killed in Iraq, or who are separated from a parent stationed in the country.
The donation for U.S. kids will go to the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program, which will provide educational tutors and counseling to 2,500 kids.
Pitt, 44, and Jolie, 33, have donated millions of dollars to charity over the years. Jolie, star of action movie “Wanted,” has long been an advocate for refugees and is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Pitt, who starred in critically acclaimed “Babel,” has advocated for relief in the Darfur region of Sudan and has backed a program to help build homes for survivors of Hurricane Katrina in the United States.
Why is that Angie costars always say it is akward kissing her ? Is that because they know they have to measure up with Brad Pitt? Or is it the way of avoiding aftermaths talk ?Matt damon said the same thing macovy saying now why? I really think Angie is a beautiful girl with dream lips so many guys die to kiss for.
I think it would be awkward to have to kiss a total stranger, much less someone as beautiful as Angie. This was their first day, they had barely talked and all of a sudden they have to make out? yeah, I would be a bit uncomfortable. And Matt is friends with Angie and Brad. It would be a bit like kissing your sister..to kiss a good friend and the woman of a close friend.
When Angelina went to Iraq she came back and talked about the help they need. Its good to see them Leading the way,THEY DONT JUST TALK ;THEY WALK THE WALK.fans can click on Angelina’s educational partnership and give them hits as well as donate.
WOW! Brad and Angie continue to set a great example to the rest of us. I’m proud to be a fan.
IRC stands for International Red Cross. Why did the International Rescue Committee Programs chose IRC as well. It’s a little confusing.
I am really proud of being fan of Brad and Angelina. These two are really good people. I will donate as much as I can afford. Bless you, Brad and Angie.
I love BrAD

Maniston preparing to get pregnant ?? that’s what she and her PR guru was telling us for the last 10 yrs. she never want one , if she’s preparing for pre-conception, she could have stop bleaching her hair, stop chain smoking, stop Botoxing her face, stop margaritas, which unfortunately was still spotted recently.
I found people at jjb were talking about Shiseido.
Shiseido has almost 10 actors, actresses and models (they are usually Japanese ) for their different cosmetic lines. In Japan the highest pay from being in CM is $0.5mil and only a few top-notch people are paid that amount. None of those 10 people are paid that much from that company. Their pays is seemed to be $0.1- $0.3mil.
If Shiseido hired Angie with $ 2 mil contract it surpasses all 10 people’s pay together.
As chairman of Shiseido said 2 years ago they hired her to promote their NEW line and her pay was the extreme in Shiseido history.
They used her to lunch a new line and their mission was accomplished.
Now this year they hired Orlando Bloom for their male cosmetic line.
They hired him because he is popular next to Johnny Depp among young people in Japan. Shiseido’s budget affords only 1 HW star each year, I guess.

Thanks for posting this article. BRAVO to Brad and Angie and the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, doing wonderful things for people that are in need and making our world a better place. I am so proud to be a fan of theirs.
Brad & Angie always set a good example to others. They practice what they preach. Very humble & humanitarian couple, the reason why so many people like & love them including myself.
Peace & blessings.
Thank you to all those who posted about the JPs donation to the IRC programs for Iraqi children. They are so generous with their time and money. Even though they get brickbats from the do-nothings and know-nothings who criticize them for their contribution, they go on their generous way and live their lives the way they want to. Makes me really so proud to be an admirer of them both. Not just two gorgeous people but with hearts of gold, too!

Thanks
There is no need for the Aniston movie to be released amongst all the oscar worthy material. It would look pathetic. Might as well wait till the award season is over. That’s a long time to wait. Maybe it needs more work (ie. reshooting JA’s scenes).
