OlderHilary Duff Celebrates Cartier Love
Hilary Duff looks brilliant in blue 3.1 Philip Lim at the third annual Loveday celebration and Cartier Love Charity Bracelet launch held at a private residence on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
The Duffster was accompanied on the red carpet by hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie of the New York Islanders. She also wore black glossy “Genie” Jimmy Choo shoes.
At the event, Cartier announced the launch of a new LOVECHARITY bracelet and accompanying ambassadors. Cartier chose a music theme for this year’s LOVE celebration. The new group of prominent music ambassadors to join the 2008 endeavor included Duff for charity Blessings in a Backpack, which will be represented by a deep plum bracelet. The LOVECHARITY bracelet is available for $995 at Cartier boutiques nationwide with $200 per bracelet benefiting its corresponding charity. On LOVEDAY, June 19th, 10% of all sales from the entire LOVE collection will benefit the partnered organizations.

If Hilary doesn’t care what she looks like when she is on a “break” then why does she always accessorize? If you don’t care what you look like then you are not going to take the extra step to switch up your bags. I have seen daily candids of her out during the day when she is on a “break” where she switches daily from her Fendi Spy, Chanel Jumbo, Prada Fairy Bag, Goyard St. Louis, Bottega Veneta Ebano etc. In the past few months she has had on either a Lovequotes scarf , Sir Alistair Rai or Tolani scarf almost everday. She also isn’t running around in flip flops everyday - she clearly puts thoughts into her shoes as well. She knows she is going to get snapped by the paps everyday so she for sure thinks about what she is wearing. If you don’t care your not gong to be wearing scarves & switching up your bags.
Maybe it’s cause I’m from the same city as Mike Comrie and have been sick of him for years but…
Is he trying to be David Beckham? Becks wore that outfit last week at a launch for Gordon Ramsay.
Anyways Ms. Duff looks great as usual! Love the dress… the color really suits her.
this is the first time i actually like gladiators worn with a dress in an event! they look good against the blue and hilary pulls them off. i also like the necklace. nice combination!
Do you consider American Apparel a high class spot? Hilary wears a lot of American Apparel. Also Lauren’s clothes are sold at a lot of great spots & most of her stuff is sold out. Look online at Shopbop. That site carries some of the most sought after contemporary designers & has a high end designer boutique. I live in LA. Lauren’s clothes are sold at several boutiques along Robertson like Kitsonwhich is a big celeb hot spot - I am sure Hilary has bought a lot of stuff there. Intuition is where Lauren launched her line & they have a mix of designers but a lot of celebs shop there too. However, Hilary’s dress in not Lauren Conrad!! That would be funny.
What is she doing in her life right now ? Is she an actress, a singer, a designer, anything ???? I really wonder…

It does look like something LC designed, hence it being boring and nothing special.
she is becoming block shaped and thick necked again, like the old days… i like her casual style when she wears the tee shirts, shoulder dusters, and high pony tails.

Her and Hayden Panettiere remind me so much of each other with how they live their lives and how they have handled being in Hollywood. I’m glad Hilary gets lots of nice comments but It sucks that Hayden gets a lot of rude unnecessary comments in her posts. i think they are both great.
