There’s a stunning twist to the sudden rise in teen pregnancies at Gloucester High School. Seventeen students there are expecting and many of them became that way on purpose.

Time Magazine first reported that nearly half of the girls confessed to making a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together. None of them is older than 16.

Schools Superintendent Christopher Farmer told WBZ’s Bill Shields Thursday the girls had “an agreement to get pregnant.”

I believe that Jamie Lynn should have waited until she was older to become a mother. I dont believe that is is ok to promote teen pregnancy, though there is nothing wrong with it..(as long as you can provide for the child and yourself) It is a big responsibility and it is very difficult, but it is still possible to have a child at a young age and accomplish your life dreams. I know from my own experiences. I just hope that every mother young or old knows that once you have a child they are number one priority and there isnt all fun and games when you want it. Congrats to Jamie and Casey..I hope everything goes well and you have a happy healthy life for all of you.

Jamie lynn spears is not a very good role model because of her “pregnancy” situation for all of those girls that watch “zoey 101″ because probably now the girls are going to say ” mom, i want to be just like zoey/jamie lynn!” and see how that is going to be a problem. I do hope that Jamie lynn spears will take good care of the baby and HERSELF. She might have not made the best judgement but that doesn’t mean that its too late to repent change your behaviour and act. God bless her, her family and her newest addition.
