Rihanna Calls “Disturbia” Summer Song of 2008
The Reigning Queen of the Summer Jam Rihanna is spotted in two different outfits while out and about in New York City on Wednesday.
Riri wore Qi’s black duster cardigan, to be sold at Mfredic in August.
While on TRL earlier this week, she called her new single “Disturbia” the “song of the summer. I called it!” And why not? It was penned by boyfriend Chris Brown!
2005 had Rihanna’s hit “Pon de Replay”, 2006 had “S.O.S.”, 2007 had “Umbrella” and now 2008 is going to get Disturbia-ized! Check out the song and the lyrics to “Disturbia” here.
And, isn’t it almost too perfect that Rihanna’s rumored lover Shia LaBeouf is well-known for his 2007 film Disturbia?

there isn’t a conceited bone in this girl’s body. she said it would be the song of the summer because she was told by her label to keep it for the next album, but she’d written on the song and was really eager to put it out. so when she says it will be the summer song, it isn’t conceit but moreso nervous self-belief.
She is nothing special. I bet no one would even notice her without all the make-up on.
