Deacon Phillippe: World Peace, Please!
Recently-divorced couple Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are spotted out and about with their son Deacon, 4, in Los Angeles the last few days.
Reese, 32 was spotted in Brentwood early Friday morning with Deacon, who sported a “World Peace Please” t-shirt. Please ignore the socks and orange crocs combo. Reese must have dressed him blindly that morning!
On Thursday, Ryan, 33, was seen picking up his Deacon from football camp.

I think a lot of people are overthinking this whole thing. First thing, whoever wrote this article… parents don’t dress their children to make a fashion statement. They just want clothes on their body. Second, the tee shirt doesn’t have to be a political statement. We all have shirts with random sayings on them. A lot of them say recycle or world peace, etc… And it’s a good thing to tell children to spread world peace. Children are the future and if you tell them early on, you can really make a difference in their life and the lives of people in the future. I think this was a harmless family outing (that the media invaded, so don’t say that Reese is forcing her kids out there. She can’t help it).
The kid was coming out of a school, so the shirt was put on him to be seen at the school as were the “colorful” shoes. La Wither is not so innocent that she just puts any shirt on her kid; she dresses him with a purpose and the saying isn’t “random.”. And all the blather about children being the future is irrelevant to the issue. Just nice thinking blather.
Who really gives a f#ck about the shirt he wears. I mean its just a shirt that says World Peace. Get the hell over it. Some of you focus on the smallest sh#t and don’t pay attention to the big picture at hand. That’s why too many people miss out on the good sh#t in life because sh@t like this.
Would you really prefer that his shirt had blood and guts oozing down the front? I didin’t think so. People like you all should really be ashamed of yourselves. I mean really.
And you think their exposing their kids by spending quality time with them. You people are TOO stupid to think like this. I wouldn’t have a big a$$ smile on my face if I were out and was photographed with my kids.
Jump on the celebrity’s backs who actually use their kids for PR and stop bringing down the good ones. And I know you have the time to do so because we already established you have no life.
And what pray tell is the “big picture at hand”????? I see only the kid coming out of a school with his mother beside him. You idiots don’t seem to understand that celebs can avoid publicity if they want to. Take Jake, for instance, who hasn’t been visible or in the news at all for ages. He obviously wants to stay private and he does so. When celebs are public it is BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE. Don’s be so stupid.

Get the hell over Reese and her family. I think the problem is your own childhood. I’m sorry it was traumatic for you. But you can get help.
You don’t know dingy about me and my family so you should keep quiet, but we do know quite a bit about Reese and her so called family. We know that she doesn’t see her kids much since she spends a lot of her time on airplanes going to Japan and now to the UK, not to mention new York and elsewhere as well as going to movie locations. She sees her kids “on the fly” so to speak. And when she does she uses them for propaganda purposes. Then after a day or so with her they are off to their father’s for a bit and then back and forth and back and forth, etc., etc. No wonder you never see them laugh or smile or looking as if they are having a good time. They look TROUBLED and ANXIOUS in every picture of them I have seen, and I bet they are just that.
Look at pictures #4 and #13 where he is clutching his shirt looking anxious and then # 14 where he has buried his head in his father’s shoulder, probably crying. He looks miserable and unhappy in every picture.

The breakup with La Wither begins to come into better focus as info leaks out. The US Weekly story on Gyllenspoon says that Ryan used to go party with his friends even on Reese’s birthdays (leaving her alone of course). I would detect in all this a typical situation of a husband whose career is not getting anywhere and a wife who has become a smashing success. The hubbie begins to feel over shadowed and outgunned and mildly humiliated, as it were, and begins to distance himself from her and finally, if rumor is right, find himself another less intimidating and less successful woman. So splitsville it is.
i hope that ryan can get a good women..he looks nice and a very good dad.
