It’s actually the highest end deprment store in Australia, so getting the job is a huge thing! Good on her!

It is not high fashion at all. It’s still much closer to JC Penny’s than anything high fashion. Anyone need a new toaster?

There is a HUGE difference in the modeling world between working for the deigners you mentioned(and being asked by them to do so!) then modeling for a department store who happens to sell a few of their things.

The real point is that modeling for ANY department store is not considered a good job in the modeling world. In her hometown she may look okay and get her picture in the paper. Miranda signed with VS in 2006 and has contracts with lots of other labels, maybeline, etc., all BEFORE she met Orlando, she is a very successful and highly sought after model, that is why she is on the Forbes list as the one the highest paid models in the world. So no matter how much you try and twist the facts, make up stories or put her down, she is still stunningly beautiful, has a huge career and Orlando Bloom is her boyfriend…..lol.

The Maybeline story is another thing hyped by her PR that didn’t amount to much at all. She did a few print ads for them but that was it and she was never their main girl or anything like that. She never had a huge contract with them but of course they try and play it up.

I know she did a little print work for them but I heard there was a commerical that didn’t get aired or something like that. Regardless, the print work she did was very short term and was not the spokeswoman for them by any means.
