Agyness is a top fashion model, but not a supermodel. She is only well known amongst the fasionistas. To be a supermodel, you have to be well known by the masses. She isn’t. As was said before, the only newer model who is close to earning that label is Gisele.

ugh…. look at the way she is standing…. this girl realy thinks she’s gods gift to the effing world. And yes sweetie, we think people calling you a supermodel is funny, and heck, even ridiculous to!!! Sh!t, if she hadnt dragged her famous “BF” with her, and had everyone speculating if he’d show, no one would have even noticed that she was there in the first place.

Just to clear things up David Jones in Australia is like a version of Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus in the US - they sell high end deisgner pieces e.g Armani Collezioni, Max Mara, Jimmy Choo,Manolo’s, Chloe etc and all the Austrialian deisgner brands - Sass & Bide etc and much much moree..
It’s actually the highest end deprment store in Australia, so getting the job is a huge thing! Good on her!

A department store is a department store. Maybe for a small town girl who just wants her picture in the paper it might be a big deal to her. In the world of modeling it is nothing to brag about it. It is not high fashion at all. It’s still much closer to JC Penny’s than anything high fashion. Anyone need a new toaster?

There is a HUGE difference in the modeling world between working for the deigners you mentioned(and being asked by them to do so!) then modeling for a department store who happens to sell a few of their things.

I don`t think she is a supermodel and I don`t find her gorgeous at all. Apparently she is not very original, either. Giselle used this ` supermodel - superhero comparison` years ago when she was asked about being a supermodel. She does look like a cabbage patch kid.
P.S. you say David Jones is a store in Australia, right. Being a supermodel means she is well known internationally. And the only reason for that in her case is her boyfriend. Nobody knows what David Jones is outside of Australia so no offense but I don`t really think modeling for them makes her a supermodel.
