Violet Affleck giggles and laughs during a coffee run with her dad Ben in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Mr. Affleck recently talked about his younger brother, saying, “People have been telling me for years now – ‘Casey’s cooler than you,’ ‘Casey’s a better actor than you! I’ve always known about the acting thing – I mean come on, I peaked in Good Will Hunting – but I would just laugh in people’s faces when they said he was cooler. He’s so scrawny, and kinda funny looking. But the more I see these movies, the more I realize… He’s sneaky cool!”

Awwwww. I love seeing these former ‘bad boys’ with their children. So sweet. It seems like most of them end up with girls. I love to see daddies with their daughters anyway. Ben looks a bit rough, but still HOT ;)
Oh Benny boy and Violet have made my day! I so love him and he never disappoints. It is the sweetest thing to see a Daddy and his little dolly on a outing together. Ben is a golden star!

We haven’t really seen them as they have been on the East Coast. This is the first full week back in LA, and Ben’s first Saturday. Last Sat. he was doing the charity even in Canada.

I agree about the acting deal. Not such a bad actor, but has taken bad roles, in bad movies. I know it’s comedy, but he rocks every time he did SNL.
What a sweet family! There is nothing more important to the healthy psychological development of a girl or woman than a nurturing and and loving early relationship with her father. If all children could feel as loved and adored as little Violet is by her mother and father, one can only imagine how beautiful the Planet!
The photos of her with Jennifer or Ben are demonstrative of what responsible parenting is all about.

I’m starting to like Ben again. I hated that he cheated on Jlo with hookers and sleazy women, but I guess he had to go through that phase before he finally got hitched. I hope he will continue to be a good husband and father, since his real dad didn’t.
I liked Ben in Jlo days too. He was very handsome and dressy, but it didn’t seem like he liked it. He was just keeping up with Lopez, not being himself. He looks really sliim.

However, you don’t have 15 paps hanging outside your house in Boston, Mass. Not enough business in it, not profitable enough to sit around hoping to get a pic of the actors working there.
Meaning when they are in LA, they are more paps around………..hundreds of them. If paps are taking pics of Ben, Jen and V. they can go and take pics of other celebs. Not possible if they are camped out in a small town on the East Coast.

Very cute pics. I just don’t like seeing pics of Violet everday but I guess if you are a celeb & you take your kids out it is gong to happen. At least these aren’t in their yard. #16 the paps on the east coast aren’t aggressive as they are on the west coast - at least that is what celebs have said in interviews. I also don’t think Ben & Jen live in the city so they aren’t going to get snapped as much. I am no expert again that is just what a lot of celebs say.
She looks like such a teeny little peanut in her daddy’s great big arms. I hope they keep pictures like this to remind her of everyday errands and how much she is loved.

Oh happy day! My baby Violet is back and she bought her ruggedly handsome daddy Ben . That’s what I’m talking about. Hot damn, Ben is so fine. If I didn’t like Jen so much I would probably just make my move. lol Oh well, if I can’t have him at least I’m glad a sweet girl like Jen G. has him. I love the bond they have with their delightful little girl. I especially love the way they don’t let money change them. I’m so glad Ben had the opportunity to find himself and is now living the life he was meant to live.

Great! Another free ad for Starbucks. Ben, if you are going to use your kid in a commercial without getting paid, at least do it for a good cause. The coffee should be Fair Trade, and display the logo (something that Starbucks does not do even if they buy fair trade–out of sight, out of mind).
Violet, tell daddy to give you Fair Trade chocolate, and when you grow up drink Fair Trade coffee.

I also like his laid back look better, he just seems more himself. If I remember correctly he tried really hard to get JLO to kick back and tone it down. They were just too different, I really think he loved her though.

A lot of what you were criticizing Ben’s abilities can also be attributed to poor directing. It often baffles me when I’m watching a film and the acting B level for what should be an A-List film. I don’t understand how they can settle for what is obvious to anyone watching the movie is a bad take. Even *horrible* actors can look good with the right direction.
Problem with Ben is, well, Good Will Hunting. It *vaulted* both he and Matt Damon into a world that I don’t think either of them were ready for. Yes, they’d both acted before, but G.W.H. was a catapult. It’s true also that Matt landed better and took off running with what looked like ease. But with Ben, the role choices were poor (meaning he made poor choices, not that I think he was only offered poor choices). There is potential there, however. He has moments when he absolutely shines. Unfortunately, nobody has seemed to capitalize on what is behind those moments (i.e. his acting potential)
Any way you look at it though, he seems to be a genuine guy who isn’t trying to claim he’s something he’s not. He doesn’t seem to be the “I’m a *star*, I’m awesome type.
Ben the worst actor in the world, and me thinks the worst Director lol. He made an uglie spawn, maybe it’s because he married a man.

Nowadays he’s been trying to be labeled as a director but I don’t think that is going to work either. He and Casey speak like they have marbles in their mouth…horrible actors both of them. His wife doesn’ t fair any better, she always has the same expression on her face and has no range whatsoever. As for the daughter….their is still hope that she will get pretty as she grows up…because she is not that good looking. Fortunately her very rich parents will spoil her the way they spoil her now. Jennifer Garner is a phenomenal actor with a Golden Globe and SAG awards. She is very beautiful woman who is warm , loving and understanding. She also did Broadway and won critical acclaim for her work in both drama and action on both TV and the big screen. From the long running hit TV series Alias and the action thriller, The Kingdom. She showed her comedy side in such hits as 13 going on 30, Catch & release to Juno. So I say to you Montana or whatever your name is, you sound jealous of a person who is living your dream. Get over it.
69…No Jennifer Garner is not a phenomenal actor, she got mixed reviews for her B’way debut, but you can dream if you like. She didn’t win Crap for her Broadway stint, she was nominated for nothing, zero. In the Kingdom she didn’t get good reviews either, they just threw her in there for reasons unknown. As for Juno…she had no range, she wasn’t in the movie long enough to even make an impact…dumb movie but her fans can keep on dreaming on. You can love her and think she’s a great actress it’s your perogative, she sucks, sucks and keeps on sucking.

Ben needs to go away he is such a terrible actor, and director too!!!! he looked cartoonish in Hollywoodland, that was bad, bad and more bad. Ben Affleck has proven his acting abilities in Shakespeare in Love, Chasing Amy, Changing Lanes, and Hollywoodland. Sorry to tell you people that not all actors throughout the course of their acting careers make a HIT film everytime. Hit and Miss in this industry. Ben has recently presented directing debut forGONE BABY GONE, which has been recognized by the utmost and respectful critics in the film industry and has been all praise and outstanding reviews. Please step off the negative box and give Ben some credit. He has made mistakes in the past, but we all do. It is called HUMAN.
I love Benny boy and will continue to follow him and his successful career and journey. He lights it up for all and you need to jump on the train as it is moving to the top of the mountain folks.

Everyone knows he cannot act…the critics certainly gave him a pass for Hollywoodland because it was awful…he didn’t look real in the movie he almost looked like a cartoon character, like Warren Beatty in the Batman movie. His movements were so slow I thought WTF….I had great hope for Ben but he has proven time after time that he cannot act. His directional skills aren’t that great either. Gone baby Gone was very slow moving, All the characters seem to lack any kind of luster. Casey acted the same way in the Jesse James movie…so much for range. Ben wasn’t able to make him shine or let alone bring anything new to acting, Shammy you can keep your Mediocre Ben and the train is going only with you and him. lol, lol…don’t crash.
