Mindy, yes there are many college educated Asians but there are also Asians in Vietnam, Cambodia and Korea who are starving. That said, if the Asian culture is so proud of education - why marry into the White race with a race of people that have really high rates of uneducated folks: Kentucky, Virginia, etc. There is a video on youtube called “Where are the Asian girls” and it is made by Asian men who are upset that so many college girls leave them for White men and in the video some Asian girls say they prefer White men because they are better looking. I think Asian girls who come to this country have bought into the white male as perfect looking guy stereotype. In media, Asian men are seen as smart but not manly and that is unfortunate. I don’t care who you marry but don’t marry against a certain race. Marry for love.

Yes Asians are highly educated - it is the immigrant mentality - but Asians are still stereotyped and kept to certain positions and not others. How many Asian politicians are there? Senators? Or heads of Fortune 500’s? How many Asians in TV shows, etc? Or Asian singers? It seems Asians are seen as good enough to be considered Computer Programmers but not high profile roles. I agree some Asian families think White is better and that is why a lot of Asians get surgeries to round their eyes, etc. It is the media influence. Look at Asian ANIME - none of those cartoons look Asian - they look European and they are made in Japan! I think people should marry who they want but as long as it is for a genuine reason. So I just wanted to make the point that Asians are highly educated - but not all - I mean look at the conditions of Asian communities in Chinatowns throughout the US. I just think Whites have kept Asians from key roles in society as well. And most immigrant groups tend to be highly educated. In NY, you see a lof of Africans who come to the states, sell things on the corner and work 24 hours a day and send their kids to private colleges and private schools. or Arabs, or Russians, etc. Immigrants come here to get an education and work really hard but the next step is to fully incorporate them into society.

What a super family. I’m a fan of Kristis. She is an amazing figure skater, pairs skater, athlete, and now dancer… loved her on dancing with the stars. I wish her the best. What a nice family they are. The children are amazing as well. Kristi would probably want the girls to get into figure skating:DD

This kind of marriage is cultural genocide. ‘guchi ignores the death camps in the U.S. that held Japanese people of color where they were lynched and raped, physically and psychologically. The sooner she divorces him for a nice person of color–Asian, Latino, African–the better. Believe me, you’ll never go back.
