Vanessa Hudgens is featured in the August 2008 issue of CosmoGirl. Check out her interview to see what a day in the life of Vanessa is like and what her and boyfriend Zac Efron are really like.
Newsweek also did a (stupid) interview with Vanessa. (It’s the same interviewer who was completely unprofessional with Clay Aiken.) Here are some excerpts:
“HSM” director Kenny Ortega once told me you and Zac Efron started dating on the first “High School Musical,” and I don’t think I’ve ever heard that story. And I’m going to keep it that way.
You’re not going to tell me? No. Only because I don’t want to talk about it. It might hurt the relationship. That’s something I have to myself.
So, is it hard to go on dates? No. We do what we want.
Are the reports true that Zac doesn’t like to shower? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic.
Because when I met him, he smelled perfectly fine. He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does.
Every day? Yes! Of course.

I completly loved this issue of Cosmogirl. I loved the way Vanessa answered all the questions, really smartly. And of course, I don’t need to say how BEAUTIFUL are the photos !

Angels and other supporters - great job as always stomping out the idiocy. You’ve done quite well and I don’t think I really have anything new to add.
But, just on all things V lately, I just have nothing but positive stuff to say. First, I’m nothing but proud of her (and Z) for continuing to honor the sacredness of their relationship and not letting prying people get “juicy” info from them. Second, go her for saying what many of us thought about the stupidity of that shower rumor. Third, I adore the CosmoGirl write up…the descriptions of them…yep, more powerful than words anyway, but it does sound from the words of advice that she shared that they definitely have a good grasp on love/successful relationships. Fourth, I absolutely love her new album…can’t stop listening. The coming months of doing concerts and tv promos, etc. should be pretty fun and exciting for her. And for those who wish her ill, honestly, what right do you have to wish anyone not to have happiness or joy? Here’s to the summer of Vanessa…and if you’re a Z fan, you’ll get that reference. :-)

I love the song Vulnerable, but I was Wondering if the cd with the bonus tracks will be released in the US on Tuesday, jULY 1. If it is not, how do we get the bonus tracks?

Nice to see that the haters/violence has stopped. I think it’s hard for some of them to be around right now since Vanessa is doing so very well. I used to think oh they are just jealous, then i thought well no, not everyone is just jealous. There’s has to be more than that. But now that I think about it, they are just jealous! I truly believe this because almost all these haters who come on here and post disgusting nasty comments have no specific reason to dislike Vanessa. And I think if you have no reason, the person did nothing to you, then you are just jealous. Sad really. I mean come on what did Vanessa ever possibly do to hurt you?
On a positive note~She sure has a lot coming up. WOW! I absolutely love her album and cannot wait to get Cosmo Girl. I do have a subscription to it, so maybe I’ll get it earlier than July 1st? Wishful thinking. =) Anyways, I really admire her even more after her Newsweek,Cosmo Girl, and Cosmopolitan interview. She certainly handles all her questions wisely. And although I always love to hear and see all the cute little moments with Z & V, and whether we admit it or not some of us would like to hear more about them in the Cosmo Girl interview, I really respect Vanessa for not gushing or spilling all their private details about their relationship. Because as Zac said, “relationships are sacred ground.” And with Hollywood I’m sure it’s pretty hard to have a relationship last long. And I mean the poor girl already had some of her private life leaked, so why would she want to share any more? How adorable was that moment they shared at the interview though? Congratulations to Vanessa!!!
