Vanessa Hudgens is featured in the August 2008 issue of CosmoGirl. Check out her interview to see what a day in the life of Vanessa is like and what her and boyfriend Zac Efron are really like.
Newsweek also did a (stupid) interview with Vanessa. (It’s the same interviewer who was completely unprofessional with Clay Aiken.) Here are some excerpts:
“HSM” director Kenny Ortega once told me you and Zac Efron started dating on the first “High School Musical,” and I don’t think I’ve ever heard that story. And I’m going to keep it that way.
You’re not going to tell me? No. Only because I don’t want to talk about it. It might hurt the relationship. That’s something I have to myself.
So, is it hard to go on dates? No. We do what we want.
Are the reports true that Zac doesn’t like to shower? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic.
Because when I met him, he smelled perfectly fine. He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does.
Every day? Yes! Of course.

In response to Gianna and other haters: have you ever heard that people make mistakes, and the world isn’t perfect? So wake up from that dream of yours, and that unrealistic view you have of people. Ever heard of letting go? Grudges aren’t healthty. Give her a break, she made a mistake. I know that’s hard to believe, but you really need to grow up and face it. She handled the scandal very well. Leave her alone.
Secondly, please tell me exactly why is she a diva? She answered some stupid questions with great poise and intellect. How else was she supposed to handle them? Can you please explain? I thought her answers were well thought out.Vanessa seems like a humble person who is only trying to have a successful career. I have never seen her act overly confident or full of herself.
Also, you said “she has no talent.” How so? Do you honestly think you could be a TALENTED singer,dancer, and actress?
Next, why are you mentioning Ashley and Jonas Brothers? This is a Vanessa thread. hmmm

Next, if no one listens to her music, and “Everyone hates Sneakernight, then why is it #33 on Itunes in pop songs, and why has it gotten some great reviews?
Also, to wish death on someone is extremely disturbing. I honestly think you need some help. You need to take a good look at yourself and think about the hateful words you have put on this thread and probably in everyday life.
I am 16 like you Gianna and can’t believe i have to share the same age as you. You seem horrible. It is sad how much hatred and disgusting comments come out of so many people. What is their problem? They sure need to grow up. There are some great fans on this thread, but wow..there really are so many people who I have no words for.

She sounds like a ***** in that interview! Probably cause she knows that she has no talent. And she’s dating some little boy who will probably end up coming out in a years time.
what is wrong with some of you these days? what gives you the right to call her all these names? none of you know her to even begin to start talking crap about Vanessa. she is not a porn star, those pictures were a mistake, they werent supposed to be leaked out in the first place. yes, they shouldnt have been takin at all, but were ALL HUMAN. we all make stupid desisions in life. just because she’s a celebrity doesnt give anybody the right to judge or say rude, nasty comments about her when you dont evn know what was really going on at the time.
but what really gets to me, is the fact that someone would actually wish death upon her. its one thing to dislike, or hate, someone without knowing them, but to wish that she was mudered is just plain wrong. no one should ever wish that someone was dead, especially not a ’stranger’. personally i think that anybody who does that has to talk to someone because apparently they have some serious personal issues.
oh, and for the people who think she doesnt have fans, what do you call all the people that have come to her concerts, asked for her autograph when she was out somewhere, and have shown their support to her by posting signs or writing ‘Proud Baby V Suppoter’ on their pages? millions of people all around the world love her and her music, and yes she appreciates and thanks them when she has the chance. she even appologized to them when the scandal happened.
just because some of you dont like her, just because she made a mistake or your jealous, doesnt mean you should waste your ‘precious’ time writing about it and taking out on her fans/supporters. do the rest of us a favor and find some other way to deal with your personal issues. GROW UP.

Her cd is okay, ill give you that. But it does not mean that because it is not horrible, it is a cd people should be listening too. There are better singers with better songs. I yes i write songs so i am able to judge. I guess you have to take into consideration that she is geared towards kids and thus has to act like a kid. well at least that what i hope because if she acts dumb because whe is dumb, then that is sad.

Spread the love, it seems a lot of - immature - readers need it. I reread the comments and realised that it’s always the same: whenever a new thread appears these non-fans come and insult either Vanessa or us. It’s just no good. In the past few days I was wondering why I am here every day and try to convince people (not to love Vanessa but leave her alone) when the whole debate seems so pointless. Seriously, without mentioning names (they are not worth to be named), how can you reach some brain cells when all they can do is saying horrible things they have no idea about?
You are here and prove them Vanessa has loyal fans. Everytime a new thread is posted, haters/non-fans come here immediately (wondering why). But they disappear soon and only you can be found here who has beautiful ideas and huge hearts. I’m so proud of you all! You have no idea. And never let them bring you down because they are not worth it.
I stopped answering stupid comments lately because whenever you have a point you find yourself alone in the discussion because the reader who has the original comment doesn’t have the guts to come back or care about your answers. It seems that people are frustrated and give out their hatred in blogs like JJ. So in a sense coming here and saying negative or rude things is a theraphy for them. And a theraphy - if it is helpful - is a good thing. That’s why I let them give out their anger - maybe answer one or two comments that need clarification - and concentrate on our extremely talented and beautiful Vanessa Hudgens and your kind words about her. It is much more entertaining, believe me.

I’m not sure you read this comments but I hope so. I know that in show biz you have to be up-to-date and report on the most bankable people. I work for a celeb mag in my country so I know how it works. I appreciate your comments - like “unprofessional interviewer” or “stupid” questions - but sometimes I wish you didn’t post about silly things just to have more readers. Because not everyone take their time to read your post or get the gist of your ideas. It’s not your fault, not at all. But I wish you could cause less drama or trouble. (Of course you cannot control the feelings or opinions of your readers but I’m sure you know what I mean.)
Can I ask a favour? I would like you to write something about this rude comments issue. I’m not asking for a ‘Guide How To Behave in My Blog’ kind of thing but a one-line sentence after your post like ‘No Flames’ or something like that. Probably, it won’t stop the rising amount of nasty comments but on the one hand, it will express your opinion about the harsh comments - if you care of course - and on the other hand, if you could reach one or two readers you achieved something. I do not want you to brainwash your audience but I truly believe you have to consider something like this. You can be sarcastic if you want (like ‘Let The WAR Begin’ or something like that) but I think it is right time to post a personal comment like that after the article.

Midnightwonder, do you know that as “non-natives” we are much more careful with our usage of the english language and take pains to use our commas,fullstops and apostrophies unlike many that I know of. When I was in U.k., the natives took their language for granted and often misspelled words with grammar thrown to the wind. So I commend you on your command of the English Language. I myself, am still learning. I find the English language as fascinating as it is complicating.
And yes, Suzy and Malia are 2 unfailingly dedicated fans who keep us regularly informed and up-to-date. There are many more of you but these 2 are the ever diligent, hardworking fans that no celebrity should do without, who go onto every blog/site and pitch for their fav.

Loved the interview in Cosmogirl and agree with her saying that she does’nt stick her nose in people’s buisness so why should people expect her to give out details on her private life and relactionships.
Also loved how Zac showed up at the shoot and the interaction between them it sounds really sweet, i love these sightings becuase they are genuine and not once so far has there been a comment about it all being for publicity just how much they look at each other or as the reporter said they left togther in a world of their own, how often have we heard that and you only have to look at them in pictures and they do seem to go ibnto their own world, good for them.

Great girl, Great interview! Love Vanessa and Zac when they have their PDA. By the way, the cover has given Vanessa a natural carefree look.
I find it hard to take the haters here seriously when I have to spend have my time trying to figure out what they’re trying to say. Misspelled words, poor grammar, using words without really knowing the meanings,,then lets top it all off with foul language to make a point. The only point I see is these people really need help in more ways than one.
Loved the Cosmogirl article, especially when Zac came in to pick her up. New CD, new movie, and a new ad campaign (Sears), I can see where she’s going down hill. It’s like someone said earlier the more she accomplishes the more the haters come out.

Totally agree it’s like the hatert’s just love to find fault with anything and everything that Vanessa does, she’s becoming a very confident young woman and it show’s, she look’s lovely on the cover and it’s easy to see why Zac is so into her.
As I have already said I love when we get accounts of their PDA and that Zac came to pick her up supporting her just she does with his and his work, they certainly seem to have team work going for them, they each have their own projects but still find time to give each other support just how a relactionship should be.
