Jennifer Hudson rocks out a metallic number by Peter Soronen at the 2008 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Heels by Miu Miu.
Lil Wayne, Usher and Alicia Keys are expected to perform.
“This is truly the Super Bowl of awards shows,” BET chairman Debra Lee said at a private dinner the night before the show. “We’re really proud of it.”
Presenters at the awards ceremony include: Terence Howard, Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube and LL Cool J.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN. She is so cool. I don’t know what it is about her… maybe the fact that she doesn’t try too hard or is gracious or is not fake or isn’t out to PROVE ANYTHING! I think this woman is blessed. I just can’t pinpoint it, but there is somehting about her persona that makes her the ultimate starlet! Maybe the fact that she looks like she didn’t allow stardom to get to her head and doesn’t air her dirty laundry to interviewers nor acts crazy.

She’s looking really well these days, her hair and make up look great. Clothes a little bit to tight, but still looks good, maybe because she’s happy, the prettiest thing anyone can wear is a smile and have an air of being comfortable in your own skin.

15th!!! What a nice look for Jennifer. I love the dress and i adore that haircut on her. It is a classic cut that does wonders for her face shape. She looks the best that I have ever seen in a while. Way to go Jennifer!!

She hasn’t done anything over the last year and yet people are still talking about her….why? Maybe she just wears unflattering clothes and haircuts to keep her name out there. I think she needs to get over herself. “Simon told me I wouldn’t make it, but look at me now!”. I am, and it appears that he was right. You had fifteen minutes of fame and now you’re gone.
