OlderJonas Brothers Return for Camp Rock Sequel
The Disney Channel is set to have the The Jonas Brothers return to go into production on a sequel to Camp Rock in late spring or summer 2009, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Although Camp Rock averaged 8.9 million viewers, according to the Disney Channel, it still didn’t top High School Musical 2. Camp Rock did, however, beat out the original High School Musical which debuted to 7.8 million viewers. HSM2 broke records for a cable premiere, grabbing 17.2 million in its August 2007 debut.
Camp Rock made the Disney Channel the number one network in its 8 p.m. slot, out-rating runner-up CBS by more than 3 million viewers. It was also top among kids 6 to 11 with 3.5 million viewers and tweens 9 to 14 with 3.4 million viewers.
The Camp Rock sequel will be pending a script that’s in development as well as the cast members’ busy schedules.

also, # 18: i remember tru confessions and that made me cry too. and i’m 14 and very mature for my age, and disney is meant for kids…. so that is why they have keep it clean, and that means tons of cheesiness.

omg camp rock sucked those boys cant act (joe cough cough) now way near hsm the oly reason it got more views is because they were already stars with their singing if people knew the hsm cast before hsm there would have been way more views they should even bother with a second the movie sucked they should just stick with 1 record HSM!! give it up disney stop trying to make movies what they arent and camp rock is exactly that they sucked at everything they should just stick with singing! and with demi and joe no chemistry whats so every not like troy and gabbi who are going out. so disney dont make a sequel !!! i want be watching it

Maya, are related to the late Brad Kibble? I have a CD by Kevin Jonas, Sr. which has a song dedicated to Brad Kibble. He was a beloved friend of Kevin’s. The song is called “One Tiny Rose”. I met Kevin 10 years ago at a worship conference. I played bass guitar with him. He is one great man!
