Jennifer Garner is Back to Black for Lunch
Jennifer Garner dresses in a summery black dress as she takes her daughter Violet, 2 1/2, to lunch at Trattoria Amici in Brentwood Calif. on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old Alias star has been filming This Side of Truth, a comedy set on an alternate Earth where no-one has ever lied. The movie stars Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and Ricky Gervais (UK’s The Office) as a performer who tells the world’s first, coming to wield its power for personal gain. Gervais also makes his feature directing debut.
Jennifer was last seen pushing her daughter Violet around their neighborhood in Brentwood.

I never saw the Ted C column, but I have noticed their body language as of late, and felt something was in the air … I think they are on the outs. I will stand corrected, but only time will tell.

I for one believe the Ted C. scoop. Many people have commented here in the past about a split. He always looks miserable when with her, and she is always with the kid alone. I’ve personally never liked her since she so easily disposed of Scott Foley and then Michael Vartan. She is a Hollywood social climber as much as anyone else. The sweetness is just an act.
Pregnant? Looks like she’s about 3 months along? Are you really that stupid or are you only about 12 years old? WOMEN DON’T SHOW IN THE FIRST TRIMESTER (i.e., the first 3 months) of pregnancy, you dimwit! It’s an umpire waist dress (which she needs because she has no waist).
I have no clue if the break-up news is true or not (since they have a child together I hope not) but to suggest that she looks pregnant in that photo is the height of stupidity.
For what it’s worth, though, I suspect the love they feel is for their daughter, not each other. Their body language speaks volumes.
I totally believe this split rumors even though it came from Ted. He is wrong a lot of the time, but every now and again, he’ll get something right.

Well, this week “a source” claims they are breaking up.
A few weeks ago “a source” said Jen was expecting a second child, they even quoted the source as saying “Jen and Ben were excited about the news.”
Now, which is it, they are heading for the big D or they are expecting another child.
Both Jen and Ben’s rep deny the rumors. And deny them “100% false.” Now, I have followed Ben and Jen for sometime, and rarely do their reps comment on a rumor, but both reps came out saying this rumor is false, false, false.
Again, if you are having problems in the marriage, you don’t go to a high profile restaurant with you MIL.
Geez, can’t this couple catch a break? They are a cute family who obviously adore Violet..who, by the way, is ADORABLE. Why is it OK to hate on kids? Anyway, I am Michael Vartan’s biggest fan, and I was very disappointed when they broke up, BUT I honestly like like Ben and Jen. Haters, go away!
Who knows for sure if they are splitting? There will always be speculation. I used to think they might be but now I’m not sure. I sure don’t wish for them to split but if it happens then whatever, they would not be the first Hollywood couple to split. Pictures are not always that indicative of whether a couple will last or not.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Split Story “100% Fabricated”
A report by E!’s Ted Casablanca that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are considering breaking up is “100% completely fabricated,” Garner’s rep tells Usmagazine.com.
The E! report speculated a potential split was “the reason Jen and Ben are always seen cooing over adorable daughter Violet separately.”
But Garner’s rep tells Us: “There is not one ounce of truth to it.”
Garner, 36, married Affleck, 35, in 2005. They have a two-year-old daughter, Violet.
“I don’t know what makes [the relationship] work. But it does,” Garner told Marie Claire last year. “One thing that makes it not not work is that we’re both pretty nice.”
“[Ben] is not someone who’s ever going to blow up on anyone,” she said. “What I mean is, if he’s ever angry with me, he doesn’t act out on it in a weird way or yell at me. And I am the same. So we can handle conflict in a very loving and adult way.”
