Angelina Jolie will bring boys to their knees in her new action thriller Wanted, according to a movie critic for the New York Times.
Manohla Dargis says, “Ms. Jolie has been perfectly cast as a super-scary, seemingly amoral assassin named (wait for it) Fox. Few American actresses, especially those with such pin-skinny arms, can make beating a guy to the ground look so easy and, yeah, man, like fun. With her mean smiley-sneer and snug clothes, her heels and hieroglyphics, she cuts the kind of disciplinarian figure who can bring antsy boys of all ages to their knees or at least into their theater seats.”
Wanted is out in theaters everywhere today!!! James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman costars.
FYI: Sources tell The Daily News that contrary to denials, Angie has given birth to her twins. “They’re waiting till the babies are bigger and stronger before they allow anyone to take their picture,” a source told the paper.

Wanted is nothing compare to the violence in Kill Bill 1 &2, the Saw and Hostel movies. Why don’t you tell that to Uma Thurman who has kids too. And besides this is rated R it’s an adult movie and is just meant for entertainment. Why don’t you tell that to actors that did Diehard, Matrix, even Iron man has violence in it. Why don’t you grow up…….it’s a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you live in a monastery????

kiki, actually a father taking a drawing his child made and having a piece of jewelery made in it’s likeness is a wonderful affirming thing to do for the child. i would say it is very good parenting. he is showing his son that he is proud of his talent. giving the gift to the mother of the child is even more special. so maybe if you didn’t see things pertaining to this family through a haze of jealousy and rancor you would see that.

One thing that really stood out in the trailers shown right before Wanted started - all these big budget summer action flicks…and ALL the women’s roles are girlfriends, love interest or in Joan Allen’s case - bad guy/girl. None of them were participating in the action. They stood off to the side and looked hot, available or scared…in that order.

Wanted rocked!!!Angelina kicked ass.I must say James was pretty bad ass himself.The plot even has a few twists which I didn’t expect.Is it just me ,or did anyone else wonder if a few of the haters looked like the “boss” in the movie.But hey,they sure act like her don’t they?LOL!

I had a little Star Wars deja vu moment at one point…and I’m sure you’ll know when it was…
The chick that played Wesley’s boss was cracking me up whenever she’d click that stapler. And I was LOL at the way all his co-workers stood up and looked over their cubicles to see him chewing out the b#tchy boss…
Another thing I found interesting about the audience reactions - there were quite a few college age girls in the crowd…slurping and giggling at James McAvoy…especially the scene where he had his shirt off. So I think he was very much part of the draw for a certain crowd. Several of the people around me had seen Atonement and commented they couldn’t believe this was “the same sweet guy!” I didn’t hear any grumblings afterwards that McAvoy wasn’t believable.
I definintely think there’s another movie’s worth of material here…but three would be a stretch. I remember reading that McAvoy was signed to a 3-picture deal and even he said he didn’t think there’d be more than 2.
Oh yeah…one last cute thing…don’t know if others caught it or not. Just before the conclusion when “Wesley” was sitting at his desk…Did you read the nameplate? It said “J. G. Millar”. I thought that was a nice touch.
