Angelina Jolie will bring boys to their knees in her new action thriller Wanted, according to a movie critic for the New York Times.
Manohla Dargis says, “Ms. Jolie has been perfectly cast as a super-scary, seemingly amoral assassin named (wait for it) Fox. Few American actresses, especially those with such pin-skinny arms, can make beating a guy to the ground look so easy and, yeah, man, like fun. With her mean smiley-sneer and snug clothes, her heels and hieroglyphics, she cuts the kind of disciplinarian figure who can bring antsy boys of all ages to their knees or at least into their theater seats.”
Wanted is out in theaters everywhere today!!! James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman costars.
FYI: Sources tell The Daily News that contrary to denials, Angie has given birth to her twins. “They’re waiting till the babies are bigger and stronger before they allow anyone to take their picture,” a source told the paper.

I just saw the movie Wanted and let me tell you, it’s one action pack movie that never lets up. The movie theater was packed to the max. There were about four movie theater showing the movie consecutively and every theater was packed. People were talking about how highly anticipated this movie was because of Angelina. Although all actors were quite good in it. My husband and I were wondering if there was anyone else who could have played the role of FOX and we could not see anyone else in this role. Angie was so amazing in this movie as well as all her movies. She is a method actress. This movie is going to probably open with a band this weekend. I think it will either be number 1 or close to it. It is that good!

My husband and I saw the 12:45 showing, there was more people at a mid-day showing than I expected. I thought the movie was very good. Fox was a badass, no doubt about it. I’m not really into McAvoy but I thought he did a decent job but felt that his part could have been played by others but no one could have played Fox but AJ, loved her smirks. Really loved Morgan Freeman

I thought the best part about McAvoy playing the role was that it’s unexpected. He did say he auditioned for it once and didn’t get the part. Then they tested a bunch of other actors who were bigger and buffer and didn’t find any of them believable as the wimpy Wesley at the beginning of the movie. I thought McAvoy was good at progressing believably from wimp to assassin.

If I see those damn tabs referring to them as the “Wonder Twins” again, I am going to blow chunks. This is not the Second Coming, people. It’s a set of twins being born. Period.
So I saw the movie: Jolie is super hot in it. The plot was your usual, which I was disappointed in.
Also, if Brad and Ang did indeed have their twins already, why would they lie? What would be the point in it? You don’t have to confirm the report but don’t deny it either.

Speaking of other comic book adaptations… Saw the trailer for “The Dark Knight”. Would it be illegal to kidnap Christian Bale and keep him tied to my bed? Prolly, huh?
As for the trailer itself - looks good…but overall I wasn’t that impressed with Heath Ledger’s Joker. I know we’re supposed to fall all over ourselves complimenting him in the role because he’s dead…but…I just didn’t buy it. I actually found Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent aka TwoFace to be a bit more interesting. The Joker, for me anyway, is just played out.
Oh yeah…Maggie Gyllenhall. Snooze-o-rama. She had one facial expression in the entire trailer. She looked bored to me, but then again…she ALWAYS looks bored to me.

Before I forget - one thing I wanted to say about Angie kicking ass in this movie…She did most of her stunts in heels! LOL! Did you guys see that 4 inch stacked heel on her boots in the 2 train scenes? And stilettos when she was driving the car? More high heels when she was beating the shite out of him? When the MEN have to do their stunts in heels…then they’ll be truly be kicking ass! Put Will Smith in some 4 or 5 inch Louboutins and see how well he does!
I hope if there is a sequal, they will find a way to include fox( Angelina ) in it. I think I heard thatat the end there is also a picture of Fox on the desk. I can’t wait to see it tommorrow.

Nobody in their right mind would fake a pregnancy; the lie is too easily exposed. They’ve been saying the same sh*t about Nicole Kidman also ever since she announced she was pregnant. The haters are going to hate, no matter what. Don’t sweat it.
But this insanity about the twins’ impending arrival is getting totally out of hand. I’m just waiting for the day when they’re born and some newscaster on prime time TV intones, “We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming to bring you this important announcement…”

It’s not anything in the movie. It’s the combined names of the two guys who wrote the comic book - Mark Millar and J. G. Jones
ET has provided the fuel for the FF vendetta against Angie and Brad to flare up. Those hatefilled bitc*es are constantly rooting around for anything no matter how farfetched and illogical to rant about. I don’t think they are even true X fans, they have just cloaked themselves in that mantle for convenience. They are true haters who are sick sick sick. All ET had to do was retract their lie and say everyone makes a mistake sometimes in life.
X fans are all over the place busily pushing X and JohnBoy up for “in love couple of the year”, they will come here to defend her, but they are not wishing ill of the babies. Most of the X fans have moved on, they pine for the past, but are sane and know that the past is just that, over and done with. They are not happy to see Brad so in love with Angie and their kids, but they accept the fact that he is.
Now the FF coven is truly evil, truly devoid of any humanity, truly lacking any ability to see the world as it is. Those women are full of poisonous hate for no reason at all toward people who have caused them no harm.
Seeing Angie so happy with Brad, so happy being a mom, so happy being pregnant with twins, so radiant and glowing at Cannes hand in hand with a loving proud Brad, had already pushed the FF’s near the edge, but now the success of movie after movie and the ET fiasco has pushed them to exploid.
FF’s are the most insane group of fanatics in the known universe.
Just my rant for this nite.

I didn’t notice Fox’s picture on the desk, but there’s quite a bit happening in that scene so it’s hard to catch all the little details. That’s going to require buying the DVD and repeated viewings… Can’t wait to see what extras they include with the DVD.
