Jude Law is a Demolition Dude

I always imagine this
Jude leaned on a pillar
the flowers send their sweet fragrance
around him was nothing but layer
of soft mist
but there he is
his white shirt opened to the waist
standing with bare feet
let the cold dew caressing them
a cigarette dangling on the corner of his mouth
a glass of red wine on his hand
and If I ever saw him that way,
I tell you my friend
my mind has left me on that day

People talk about smoking like it is a crime. Until now, I never read or see somebody killing, raping, behaving badly under the influence of cigarette. But under drinking, I saw many times! Innocent was killed because somebody drive drinking, a family was destroyed because father/mother was alcoholic. And behaving badly? Ever watched football match? If people were fraught with alcohol and their team lost, you better get out of their way!!

SO Tell me, please. Why nobody forbids alcohol/boost?

Last night I saw Gattaca again. You are right! The first moment Jude appeared on the screen (near by the stairs) and looked at Ethan, Ethan was pale (he was pale through the entire film anyway), but this angry, lonely, sick Jerome Eugene Morrow is not Jude. He is Eugene. All this make-up and hairdo will influence Jude’s physical appearance. And his hair, I don’t notice them at all. I never notice anything from his face, except those eyes.

And my friend, you and I know, he is not a winner of a beauty contest. He is an actor. And, to be honest, I don’t mind if he is ugly, as long as he can deliver his works perfectly! You know that in my heart there is also a place for Rhys Ifans, and tell me, if there is anybody out there who thinks that Rhys is a beauty. Because she/he will have a special attention from me.

How are you? I always appreciate your job. May God give you the strength to carry on. When people are in sadness, they do need somebody to tell them everything would be okay. And I suppose it is your part to do so. Hanging there, my friend!

And about smoking, I simply have different opinion from you. Let’s put it that way. And let’s talk about Jude. This board is too small for both of us to argue about Jude, let alone about smoking!

Thanks for putting the video on here Annie. I had seen it and posted it elsewhere yesterday. Too bad the lighting wasn’t just a little briter. I
love the atmosphere but the flashes of llight show you what you are really missing.. I’ll bet jude throws a load of invitations in the garbage
but that must have stayed on top intriguing him. I’ve run into other stuff
from that evening and I believe we will continue to run into them until
they are ready to show off the new building at the end of 2009.. We shall see a lot of Jude meaning a lot of fans are traveling to London
for HAMLET and perhaps other tours and visits as well.

As for the hair bit, if they are playing it in full costume of whatever period in Denmark I hope he will do the platinum blond curly look that
Olivier did in the film - He will be breathtaking- but I expect the performance to be one of his very best ever. I know he can do it. We will
see the thinking processes of the melancholy Dane come alive! What

I guess I’m the only one that is not impressed with the video. He looks lost, lonely, drunk, uncomfortable and not relaxed. I really don’t get what everyone’s so excited about.

I know that smoking is not a crime. I hate the smell and I do not like being anywhere near smoking or smokers. For me, it is a sexual turnoff. We are all entitled to our opinions on this.

And , rien, you do write beautifully. Your description of Jude is very erotic even with the cigarette in his mouth!

Lost, lonely, drunk, and uncomfortable, Blackworm? No, I absolutely don’t get that from the video at all…I don’t see at all what you “see.” I see a very gorgeous man smiling, laughing, and having a lighthearted conversation.

He looks awesome here IMO - though I don’t like him smoking either. To me it’s simply stupid and lazy - everyone knows how dangerous it is to smoke so it’s a bit annoying to see him still smoking because I don’t think he’s stupid.. but perhaps he’s a bit lazy, who knows.

As for the video - thank you! He looks even better “live” than in pictures. I think he does look a bit uncomfortable but I think it stems from him having that camera straight up in his face - and it sounds like he’s not aware if he’s being filmed or not. And then that French guy going on in French even when Jude says he only speaks a bit of French? That must have a been annoying too. I’m not good at French either but it sounds like the guy filming is trying to talk to him about being in his movie - that might also have annoyed him. I don’t think he looks drunk. And he’s deadsexy too, did I mention that?

Balckworm, that what I see too - I just think it’s caused by the camera. It’s right in his face - I think most people would be a bit uncomfortable.
