OlderMadonna and Guy Ritchie Agree to Divorce
Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly agreed to end their seven-year marriage.
A friend said last night: “They were both very calm. Madonna told Guy: ‘I’m sorry, I want a divorce’. And he agreed. It was quite painless but very sad.”
One disclosed to the Daily Mirror: “He’s a bit down in the dumps, and who can blame him. He’s off to the country to get a bit of peace and quiet.”
Madonna, 49 reportedly has begun seeking advice from divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney in his divorce. Ritchie, 39, is believed to be consulting with Forsters, a lesser-known London law firm.
The couple apparently did not have a prenuptial agreement which could potentially lead to a 50-50 split of assets.
Madonna is believed to be worth about $600 million.

What is all this sad crap about Madonna??!!! She’s screwed a lot of people in more ways then 1 to get where she is. That is a very self-serving woman and she’ll be just fine. Everybody seems so shocked that rumors are she didn’t have a pre-nup. Look @ what happened to sir paul mccartney… I would think he’d be a helluva lot smarter than madge. The only thing I feel sorry for are the kids, they’re innocent in all of this. Madonna only married guy to clean up her image, but she grew bored of that gig and I’m surprised it last this long. Everytime I see them both together…she’s always taking his balls away from him & gives off a nasty attitude. And that fake british accent she likes to use at times is just sickening. I’m sure Guy’s tired of her and ready to move on. From what I hear he was a good father and when he’s gone ole madge will just let the nanny take care of the kids on overtime, so she can get back to her hedonistic lifestyle. Don’t feel sorry for Madonna, she’s selfish enough to survive without anybody’s violin playing and she’ll still be a RICH bytch!
whats sad about Madonna getting a divorce..she created a few divorces along the line and climbing the ladder cold heartedly as she did anly culminates in trouble
He probably just wants to get away from all the Kabalah BS. Why do celebrities even bother getting married when it’s a guarrantee they’ll get divorced?
I highly doubt that madonna will be sad…she just wants publicity out of it i guess…but i m not the one to judge…(never really cared abt her neways)
but these celebs, they can hardly stay with one person for the rest of their lives…
poor Guy…he’s probably the one who will suffer…
