Thierry Henry’s Showdown in Chinatown

French soccer/football player Thierry Henry plays at the Steve Nash ‘Showdown In Chinatown’ Charity Soccer Match in New York City’s Sara Delano Roosevelt Park on Wednesday.

NBA stars Jason Kidd, Raja Bell, Leandro Barbosa, and Baron Davis were also there to play and support the charity event.

When asked about if he would consider playing in the MLS, Henry said, “Why not? I love America. I love it here. And, whenever I come here, I feel free. Hopefully, one day.

“You never know what’s going to happen. But, at the moment, I’m still over there.”

DO YOU WANT Thierry Henry to play in America?

I can’t believe some people compare Henry and Beckham (a striker and a winger).
Do any of you know something about soccer?

Woooh titi sur Just Jared ! J’l'adore, il est trop HOT

Thanks Just Jared, continue de mettre des news sur des p’tits Frenchies !

I nearly cried when I saw that Becks was coming to America because I thought it was the end of his international career. Thankfully, he got his 100th cap, but no telling if he’ll be able to join the squad in WC 2010. I still thought he had a couple more good years of European soccer left in him, but perhaps the slower pace of the MLS has helped extend his club career, at least.

Maybe the same could be said for Henry and he should come to MLS. But, I wouldn’t want him to come until he can’t really perform in Europe. What’s so funny is that even though the MLS is becoming a retirement league for European players, they’re still some of the top players in MLS. lol

hes 1 of the MOST hottest french football players!!!!
Ssssssssss his sizzlinf hot lol!

i’ll take thierry henry over cristiano ronaldo anyday.

Thierry Henry is the best. A giant among the football players. A great gunner at Arsenal. We miss him there.
I don’t want him to play in the US though, to make some money in the end, yes, but as good as he still is he should play ina very strong league, like in Spain or Italy, not the US.

French soccer? On Justjared? :)
Et en plus c’est mon Titi Henry : mon joueur, celui que j’admire depuis tellement longtemps maintenant. Il est tout simplement pour moi, le meilleur joueur au monde. ♥
Thanks JJ, really !

somone loves football :)

He is so hot! I love him. I would be sad if he came to MLS. MLS is such a letdown compared to Euro Soccer.

Woooooooooooh! THIERRY HENRY!!!!!! Those who love football and hate Becks, you should be thanking Beckham! It’s evident that only the football/soccer mad know of the likes of Thierry and C. Ronaldo. It’s a good thing that they’re starting to get recognized in the US. Hmmm, I wonder who made that happen?

How ome ive posted twice yesterday and none of the comment showed up???

NOOOOOO WAY!
He’s got to stay in EUROPE, we’ve got real soccer/football there.
BTW I’m French.

No he’s should stay in Europe for a couple of years and then go to America. But he is very good so it would be good for America if he went and soccer would probaly get more attention!
