I don’t understand what the problem is with Sears. Yes, over the years they have gone down in things but they have also picked up over the past couple years. Now, when this here 54 year old woman was younger, it was K-Mart that was considered the “low-end” stores and Sears was the more expensive store. I grew up in the midwest and we didn’t have stores like they have on Rodeo Drive. But what young regular teenage girl would go buy something at a boutique on Rodeo Drive anyway? I would say since I have seen a great change in Sears in the past couple years that they are very intent on getting their store back to it’s glory days and GUESS WHO they thought could give them a BIG BOOST??? They knew perfectly well Vanessa Hudgens—who is LOVED by millions could do the job for them! Eat you heart out bashers.

Hi narf and all other angels who are hovering about! I’m kind of in and out tonight. I’m suppose to be writing up something like an outline about a ventilator that a patient of mine is going to be on at home so everyone will have something to refer to but I can’t seem to get into it. I have put it off for the past 2 days. SO, I guess I have procrastinated long enough and must get started.

But I waned to add something what go sox said earlier about how she didn’t care for Jolie but she doesn’t go to her threads and write bad stuff about her. I am not a Tom Cruise fan, never have been, and I have said that in the past. However, he does not make me feel enough emotion to care enough to say bad things about him. Truly the opposite of love is indifference—where you have NO emotion. Love and hate are very closely connected because those two fellings stir up great emotions and passions which means the person feeling either of those things are taking great notice of the object/person who is creating those feelings.

If I went to a Tom Cruise thread and said negative things about him—even if I said nothing vile or used obscene language—it may not mean I was jealous but it would certainly mean if nothing else that I was resentful of him for getting attention whether it be a lot or a little. Why should it matter to me if he is getting attention or not? Why WOULD I want to try to ruin some fan of Tom’s day by saying hurtful things? IF Mr Cruise makes someone happy with his films or the way he looks, or the way he acts then I’m happy for the fan. Why should I be jealous or resentful or envious or just a poop-butt because I don’t like him but millions of people do? I believe there is room in the movie industry for more than one star actor/actress. No everyone likes the same type actor/actress. It’s a good thing since one actor/actress can’t do every movie and the same way with singers. That’s why we have soul, jazz, rock, gospel, rap, etc, and dramas, comedies, historical, thrillers, etc, in movies. To each his own. But truly those people who are intent on spreading rainclouds instead of sunshine, insulting instead of uplifting, and then saying they have a right to do so are just wanting to go against the grain. It is pretty bad when you want to make people feel bad instead of good or say something insulting instead of flattering and I don’t know why those of you who do that cant “get it”. If this is the type personality you display all the time you will quickly be on the outside looking in because nobody will enjoy your company since you will always be seen as a negative person or in my day they were called “downers”.

Karen, same here, just never thought much of Tom Cruise, not after he ditched Nicole Kidman. In my opinion, he’s like a little boy who’s after a toy and will do anything to get it. Once it has lost its charm his attention is drawn elsewhere. Don’t doubt that he does know the art of pursuing.

Narf, Cass is arriving about 12 hrs from now. Zara’s having a sale and it is a mere 3 mins walk away. Will take her there tomorrow as they’ve some nice winter/autumn/spring jackets. It will be a spending spree for her and empty pockets for me.
