‘Wanted’ Breaks Box Office Records
The Angelina Jolie action thriller Wanted scored the best opening ever for an R-rated film released in June and the 6th best opening of all time for any R-rated pic, according to Variety.
The film, which also starred James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman, placed No. 2 at the box office this past weekend behind the endearing toon Wall-E.
At $23.1 million, Wall-E scored the biggest opening-day gross of all nine Pixar films and raked in an estimated $62.5 million for the weekend. Wanted soared beyond expectations, pulling in a whopping $51.1 million.
FYI: If you haven’t seen Wanted yet, you get to see Angie’s derrière in all its glory for a mere split-second.

The budget was $75 M and so it’s WW box office total has already surpassed it’s budget. And by this next weekend, it should have already surpassed it’s budget domestically as it needs only $25 M more to reach it’s budget.
It might be wise for people to ease up on the nasty stuff. It would be very easy for someone who dislikes this site to post major spoilers for the wanted movie. I say this because on the last thread fans in their excitement actually dropped 2 pieces of information about the ending and the surprise twist was lost. From the beginning I knew what was up. No surprise ending for me.
Ryan Gosling is wearing a newsboy cap. Just a thought that when Brad was wearing these last year trolls said no one was wearing those old man hats but I have seen everyone from Will Smith to Madonna wearing them. Just like Angelina wearing floor length dresses. The Jolie Pitts set treads.

I don’t feel the need to go to such sites anymore, there is too much good news for me to waste my time reading their filth. What I will say is that I feel sorry for them. They are so full of hate that they are to be pitied. The kind of hate such people express just lets you know that they are not happy in their personal lives and so need an outlet for their frustrations.

Mr and Mrs Smith, I hear you. It just pains me that these people are insinuating all these horrible things about Angie. This is a woman who everyone who has come in contact with, seems to have only nice things to say about her. She has never been quoted as saying anything mean about anyone, and yet people get off on thrashing her. I have stopped visiting sites like popsugar and d’listed because of this.
However, it has been said that GOOD always triumph over EVIL, and i wholehearttedly believe that. I have reached the stage that i hope that Brad and Angie dont give any mag the first pictures of the twins, especially People which has become X Central. They should just make an announcement so that their fans know that the babies are here, God’s willing, and everone is healthy.

I hope they do sell pictures of the twins and use millions of dollars to help people around the world. I hope it is people who gets the photo. They are far better than Us Weekly, OK , etc. I don’t think People is Aniston central .

I say let them insinuate things ALL they want. At the end of the day, Angie is still with the man she loves Brad, still pregnant with her twins, still a mommy to four (soon to be six) beautiful children, basically, still enjoying her life.
What made me the most happy this past weekend with the BO numbers was that the one thing the haters had going for them that any movie that Angie is in will tank at the box office (because of course to them most people hate her) was just crushed. Not only did Wanted do more than expected numbers, KFP did great too and basically EVERYONE knew that Angie was involved in both films because her name and images were used to promote both films.
So you know what, f*ck the haters. Let them hate all they want to. I will ignore them and instead choose to keep on loving the JP family and wishing Angie a safe birth whenever the babies decide they want to come out. :)

I love the video of BRAD especially BRAD and E.NORTON singing. Funny and beautiful.
Saw “Wanted” tonight. Waited till after the weekend crush but theater was still full up. Angelina tore up this film. She was great. If you like non-stop slam-bang action you’ll love this movie, but if you can’t take blood and gore all over the floor, this is NOT the movie for you.
