Rodney Jerkins: Britney Spears Album Slated for Early 2009
Super producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins has reunited with Britney Spears for her new album for the first time in seven years. (They’re both pictured here to the left in January 2000.)
As late as four weeks ago, Britney and Jerkins were in the studio producing some tracks for Brit’s as-yet-untitled sixth studio album, which is scheduled for an early 2009 release.
Says Jerkins, “I’m trying to reinvent her and myself. [The new sound is] very dancey, really uptempo, in the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy.”

She was gorgeous before. She has come to be just pretty now. Her skin has a bunch of age marks and she just looks way older than she is.

I actually like Brittany. I think she is great. I just believe she has made some bad choices. But who hasn’t? The best thing she could do is get back with the people who helped set her career off to begin with. She needs a hugh comeback. One that will help her. She was not ready a year ago with the VMA awards.
YAY can’t wait go britney! Blackout was a great album perhaps her best.

I’m 25 yrs. old and I’ve always been a fan of Britney Spears. Her music is really catchy and it makes you dance. I’m in the Entertainment Bizz and I think she’ll be fine. There’s so many things you have to deal with when your as famous as Britney Spears. Imagine everyone reading and watching your every move. It kinda makes you a bit paranoid and cautious. I mean she has to be very careful about what she talks about because little 13 year girls are looking up to her.
I think it’s time Britney grew up. The 1st half of her new album, Blackout, is all for the little tweens, except Gimme More. I loved that song and the video was just great. I thought she was going for a more grown up sound and image. I was totally wrong. Her follow up video was crap. It’s so being sold to little MTV kids. I hated that video. Then the anime video was alright but still to kiddy like. I want to see her go all out and grown up. She should stop listening to her managers and do her own thing.
I hope her New Cd coming up in 2009 shows her true self. I like her “Don’t Give a **** attitude.”

Im very excited that the pop queen back on track and is going to release a 6th album in 2009 i loved blackout but i didnt think it was her best work so i hope her new album will go back to her good old bubblegum 90s pop music instead so Britney keep on singing and gimme more.

Well. her new album is already out. “Circus” came out on December 2nd, 2008.

Seriously get over it then because the new Britney isn’t better nor worse then the old Britney. There the same person and if your a true fan then you’ll love her no matter what she does and you’ll stand by her even when it looks pointless.
