Aubrey O’Day is a Butter Babe
Aubrey O’Day of pop-singing group Danity Kane and Teddy John of 8th & Ocean arrive at Club Butter in New York City on Monday.
Starting Friday, July 18, Aubrey will take over the role of Amber Von Tussle from Ashley Spencer in the Broadway musical Hairspray. The 24-year-old singer/dancer, who was discovered on MTV’s Making The Band 3, will remain with the show through August 31. Aubrey will appear opposite Ashley Parker Angel (Link Larkin), who starred in the first season of ABC’s Making the Band.
Haylie Duff also took on the role of Amber Von Tussle in 2006.

Oh lord. I wish people would stop bashing this girl to the high heavens…its actually because she was the prettiest at one point…and she acts like a totally socially inept poseur.. but anyway, I saw her in person. She has gained 10-15 lbs, and that;s why she looks like she has fake boobs. I’m pretty sure her boobs are real. She seems like a good person at heart. But..she could use more protein and less booze and makeup in her life. And white girls don’t age well. And all stars party hard…its just that the danity kane girls don’t have crazy workout regimens like running 8 miles a day and nutritionist to balance the club appearances out. Maybe broadway will make her look better.
