- Heath Ledger’s hometown named a theater after him Tuesday. The $87 million, 575-seat Heath Ledger Theater in Perth was named in his honor for his commitment to acting. “Heath Ledger was totally dedicated to the craft of being an actor and that’s what made him successful,” Western Australia state Premier Alan Carpenter said at a naming ceremony. “I think what we’re doing is continuing that support for young people who want to make a career in the arts and acting, stage and in film, whatever it happens to be.”

Mandy Rogers was her real name but had it legally changed to Portia. Did anyone notice that Ellen is looking a bit like Cynthia Nixon’s partner (is it Christine Maroni?) in the photos?
6th!!!!!!!! I think those pictures of Ellen and Portia are beautiful. In every picture Ellen looks like she is looking at Portia for the first time. She looks like she is looking right through her soul and really, really loves her, with all she has. I think they make a wonderful couple and wish them all the happiness and peace in the world. Ellen deserves that. I love her, and envy what she has found. Total happiness and unconditional love. Congratulations Ellen and Portia.
