Leighton Meester - “Lucky” Magazine August 2008

Gossip Girl cutie Leighton Meester is the August 2008 cover girl for Lucky Magazine, out July 8.

And she’s in a pretty happy spot in her life right now. Leighton shares with a smile, “I know it’s corny to say. … I love my life right now. The fashion alone is pretty unbelievable.”

Vanity Fair recently asked the 22-year-old actress who her favorite designer is. She said, “I’m more a normal person than, like, a fashion girl. For everyday, I like Fluxus—it’s really soft. I really like Foley & Corinna; they do a good mix of vintage and new.”

As for her preference of either a BlackBerry or iPhone, Leighton joked, “Why do you assume I don’t have a Nokia pay-and-go phone? No, I have a BlackBerry.”

And does she prefer Justin Timberlake or John Mayer?

“Justin Timberlake.”

She looks this beautiful on and off covers; all the photos i’ve ever seen of Leighton at events or in candids she looks this flawless!!!

I really hope she gets the coverage and the press she deserves because she is so talented and such a good actress!

She’s too gorgeous, I <3 her and how she speaks her mind haha & yet has this great sense of humour and really seems like this casual normal girl who doesn’t need to be glammed up 24/7, like she also mentioned in another interview going out off-camera in just t-shirt and jeans and her pair of glasses. :) And ditto to Angeline!

I’m not dissing on Blake, but Leighton has this glow to her, which makes her more down to earth and real. She’s more girl next door type and she’s definitely the underrated beauty in the show.

Blondes are not overrated sure they look practically all the same, ut some of them are really pretty. Leighton is a very beautiful Brunette, i think i’ll go as a brunette myself!!!
