OlderVanessa Hudgens Identifies With Purple Pumps
Vanessa Hudgens leaves The Trump Hotel in a pair of purple pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti and arrives at an office building in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
The 19-year-old High School Musical is in town to promote her sophomore album, Identified, which drops today, July 1.
Here are the positive things The Associated Press had to say about V’s album: “The title track is solid, as is ‘First Bad Habit. ‘Amazed,’ featuring Lil Mama, is arguably the album’s best track: The lip-gloss queen and the Disney star may even see a Top 40 hit with this one. All those songs were produced by Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson ‘Since U Been Gone,’ Katy Perry ‘I Kissed a Girl’); Clearly he should have played a bigger role in this CD.
CHECK THIS OUT: “Don’t Ask Why” features Hudgens at her best — a nice voice minus the bubble-gum sound. She sounds clean, clear, and under control.”

i bought her album today and its great. vanessa is beautiful and always and i love her heels. i love vanessa’s whole CD the songs are awesome and she sings them great. my favorite 3 songs though are don’t ask why, last night and amazed.

If you want to hear real music and a truly great new album, which also dropped today, listen to John Mayer. Her album just plain stinks in my opinion and I am a muscician. People promoting her with such a vegance should be ashamed of themselves.

Hiya Narf, gotta agree with you on the writer’s mood of the day. What counts is my personal preference and that’s how I choose my albums regardless of the press.
Love her natural look. Less is more and yes, she seems more comfortable in her own skin. Things are coming up roses for her and I wish her every success with this album.
I have to wait at least another week or so to get my hands on her album from where I’m at.
