I saw a pic of Brad, Zee, and Shi, going in to the hospital to visit Angie.

I’m sorry, but did we need a press conference with a man saying that she’s doing very well? I thought they were meant to be very private people, but it seems that they know that the press will eat up everything they do.

I think people tend to forget that having twins is considered a high-risk pregnancy. Not only that, but Jolie will most likely require another C-section because her first pregnancy was by C-section. C-sections are considered major surgeries. Plus, they have to juggle caring for their 4 other children in the process of trying to have a healthy, uncomplicated birth. I can’t imagine the pressure that this couple is under. In addition to all the worries that an average couple would have, they have to deal with this crazy media frenzy! I think they gave a press conference just to get the media off their backs. I mean, c’mon, she just checked in the hospital, and news already spread like wild fire hours later that perhaps she had already given birth. I think they do want their privacy, but honestly, the media is not going to give them that privacy so they figured they may as well issue a statement.

Doctor: Birth of Jolie twins may be weeks away

NICE, France (AP) — Angelina Jolie’s doctor says her twins may take a few more weeks to arrive.
Dr. Michel Sussmann spoke at a brief news conference Wednesday in Nice, where Jolie is hospitalized. Asked when the 33-year-old actress is expected to have her twins, he replied: “I can’t give you a date. Let’s say the birth will happen in the weeks to come.”
Sussmann stressed that Jolie checked into the hospital to be kept under observation, not because of any medical emergency.
“Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine,” said the doctor, apparently unaware that the actors aren’t married.
“Her hospitalization at this stage in her pregnancy is totally normal for a patient who had a Caesarean (section) during her first pregnancy,” he said.
French medical secrecy laws are very strict, but Sussmann said Jolie and Pitt had given him the OK to give out a few details.
Sussmann said four rooms of the hospital had been reserved for the Jolie-Pitt clan and their bodyguards. The couple have four children: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.
“I find it legitimate that she wants to protect her privacy,” he said. “She is (a) pregnant woman.”
“She is a patient like any other,” he said. “She is very well and she is OK.”
He wouldn’t reveal the sex of the babies.
The seafront Lenval hospital announced Tuesday that Jolie had checked into its Santa Maria maternity clinic to be kept under doctors’ watch and rest.
British actress Celia Imrie, who was in Nice on Wednesday soaking up the surf, told Associated Press Television News that Jolie “has chosen the most beautiful place in the world” to give birth.
The local newspaper, Nice Matin, reported that Jolie has the best room in the hospital, on the fifth floor with an unobstructed view over the Bay of Angels. It said Jolie arrived by helicopter, landing Sunday afternoon on the hospital’s roof.
Nice Matin reported — not without a little pride — that the famous couple had chosen Nice over the even more chic Monaco, further down the coast.
The Brangelina clan has been settling into a new home in the south of France, in Correns, about 60 miles from Nice. The town’s mayor confirmed the couple had moved into the Miraval Estate villa, and a helicopter has been spotted taking off and landing there.
Veteran British celebrity publicist Max Clifford told APTN earlier this week that the first photos of the twins could fetch millions for paparazzi.
“France has got very, very strict privacy laws, which gives them far greater chance of controlling everything and making sure no one gets some sneaky photos,” he said. “But of course the stakes are high and this is probably going to be the most expensive set of baby pictures in history.”

Let me give you a little help… They were there since Sunday and the paps and media only knew Tuesday, so they didn’t “signaled” anything to the paps. Why are these stupid haters’ panties in a twist just because of a fcuking press conference? Sheesh, most sporting events have one after a game, the winning and losing coaches, players, etc have to talk to the media (especially in NBA games). So the doctor who is treating her had a short presscon to assure everyone (most specially the fans) that Angelina is doing okay but is under observation. BFD!!!

Angie isn’t a fame wh**e, she simply likes to take her children out with her when she does things. Guess it’s quality time with mommy that she loves to spend time with her children as does Brad. You complain when they are with a nanny and turn around and complain that the parents are with them too much, lol. That’s why I said I agreed with her decision to leave the trial open to the public. I’d make damned good and sure a judge gave him the minimum settlement possible. They were married a hella long time and he didn’t pay for squat. Everybody makes fun of K-Fed, but at least he came as advertised. It is always up to the judge in the end. He made the decision to keep the trial open. There is a very high burden to meet if you want to close a courtroom to the public. Divorce is not a juvenile matter.

The children’s law guardian (guardien ad litem) filed a motion to close the proceedings and Cook’s atty joined in that motion. Christie wanted it open and her atty argued against closing it. BUT Christie issues a statement saying that she still hopes “these matters can be resolved privately.” That, friends, is called blackmail. She wants Cook to capitulate before trial or at least before the really bad stuff is on the record.

I don’t think the judge would have closed the court (divorce trials in NY State are public) even if Brinkley agreed with closing it. But it’s never good to use kids as pawns or the threat of ruining their father’s relationship with them in divorces.

Exactly. People are forgetting that children can be meaner than adults. They lash out and say things to hurt another child or taunt them on purpose. I find it weird that they are not staying in the same room as family member usually do when one is in the hospital. Couldn’t she share her room with him?

Don’t bother writing them. Statements like this, and others, including People misquoting Angie are all part of the great machine to diminish Angelina. I have noticed for quite a while that the media is complicit in the negativity directed at Angelina. At who’s behest, I don’t know, but it’s there. The NY Post, The Daily News, Popsugar, MSN, Fox, ET, E and for quite sometime last year Glamour magazine - and others, have all published negative articles or negative inferences about Angelina. However, despite their best efforts she still keeps rising and they don’t know what to do. Many of them are now actually trying to make nice since Jennifer Aniston has so disappointed them. You see, the sympathy was suppose to allow her to rise higher than Angie, win a few awards, even the elusive Oscar so she would be “vindicated,” but her lack of real acting ability has been her undoing. The media, faced with backing the wrong horse now doesn’t know what to do. Some are playing nice, see Jo Piazza (NY Daily News) and Roger Friedman (Fox). Some still are still trying to belittle her vis a vis that “starlet” comment. Ultimately, the media now knows that Angie is a supernova and the tables have turned. The media is now being exposed for the liars that they are…. publicly. One by one they are being humiliated and their credibility is being destroyed. Look at Ted C who recently got his comeuppance. And today, ET. Now, anything they write about Angie will be seen, if not right away, to be a retaliation. They cannot really win.
So Raye let them call her a starlet, they too, will soon have their day of reckoning.

I just had to leave a comment about the haters. It just fascinates me that some of them just post on BAMPZS threads all day long. They say they hate them, but here they are day, after day, after day. Wasting their own valuble time posting hatred and filth about people who have made a huge positive difference in the world. It really says a lot about their character. There will always be those who do not care for this family, but the sane ones, just skip their threads…I’m pursuing my masters degree in psychology, maybe I will do a paper on it ;)
