OlderDoctor: Angelina Jolie Is Doing Very Well
Angelina Jolie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, announced at a press conference that the expectant mom and the twins are doing well.
Sussman shared the news with media at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France on Wednesday. He said, “[Angelina's] hospitalization at this stage of her pregnancy is strictly normal for someone who underwent a caesarean in her first pregnancy.”
Asked when Angie is expected to have her twins, he replied, “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure. I can’t give you a date. Let’s say the birth will happen in the weeks to come.”
Sussman added, “Everything is normal. She is very well, and she’s okay. She will stay in the hospital until the birth. I will stay with her. … Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is going well.”

Each hospital must do things differently, but where I’m from it is the norm for a patient to stay in a room for medical care while the spouse/parent is in another one that will not be interupted by medical personel or be fitted out with expensive medical equipment. This is a peadiatric hospital so i’m sure this isn’t the first time it’s been done.
It doesn’t sound odd to me at all. The only difference is that she has security there as well, and she needs that because it’s Angelina Jolie and there are plenty of lunitics around who hate on this wonderful family.

Sista - that maybe true in some dark corner of the world where Obstetrics is still primitive. The expected birth is in France. And yes - it is not uncommon to have VB (vaginal birth), after a C-section. It’s all case specific.

Good Morning,wishing everyone a great day,I’m up because i have my oldest grandaughter,Sara in labor since last night,But we had to step out of room for thirty minutes while the Dr.gives her epidural in spine and only one person could stay in their with her,so her husband stayed.This is her first child a little baby girl,But since i’ve been here i have been thinking of Angelina and Brad.And i want to send my prayers out to Angelina,my prayers are with her,also with Brad.My Blessings go out to this Family the Jolie-Pitts,I am so proud Brad sticks right by Angie’s side,I have nothing but high respect for this man,and of course,my prayers are always with Angelina.Peace to All.
