OlderDoctor: Angelina Jolie Is Doing Very Well
Angelina Jolie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, announced at a press conference that the expectant mom and the twins are doing well.
Sussman shared the news with media at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France on Wednesday. He said, “[Angelina's] hospitalization at this stage of her pregnancy is strictly normal for someone who underwent a caesarean in her first pregnancy.”
Asked when Angie is expected to have her twins, he replied, “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure. I can’t give you a date. Let’s say the birth will happen in the weeks to come.”
Sussman added, “Everything is normal. She is very well, and she’s okay. She will stay in the hospital until the birth. I will stay with her. … Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is going well.”

Ritzy it’s not her, but THEM. It’s the decision of Brad, Angelina and THEIR doctor to do things the way they did.
A “simple written statement” with most of the media doen’t work. Having THEIR doctor will be more effective and will stop any temptation from the media to write the type of stories that crazy people like you love so much.

I just saw the previous thread. To the idiots who kept saying Shiloh was fat, look at her arms and legs and you can clearly see that she’s losing her baby fat. She’s going to be tall, she has really long legs. She and Zahara are beautiful little girls.
Does she have an American doctor or do they look poorly upon American physicians the way she has looked upon her biological father for many years?
Wonder when they and certain bloggers will realize that true service or philanthropy is not publicized but quietly put to task? Neither Angelina nor Brad are “royalty” as our founding fathers left England for many specific reasons!

Really, if Jolie-Pitt keeps quiet the media frenzy will be out of control around the hospital. When they announce her state in a press conference they get blamed as attention seeker. There is really no win except that they are UNDENIABLY the center of attention of the world’s media. They attract envy, jealousy, hate as well as overwhelming well wishes and love. Come to think of it, having Shiloh is Namibia wasn’t a bad idea—no one could get to them!

ITAWY just remember the last time they did that, ET completely ignored the statement and practically demanded that she came out to demonstrate that she was in fact still pregnant. At least with this conference we know that anything that doesn’t come from their DOCTOR is false

I don’t know, perhaps renting out half the maternity ward like it’s a hotel and arriving via helicopter signaled the paps that something was going down? I think there could have been a more subtle way for her to make her entrance at the hospital. Sheesh. Please don’t try to convince me that they don’t eat up the publicity surrounding them.
I’m relieve to hear that she is doing very well. I feel confident that they will announce when she has delivered the babies.

Relying on these last events, and some well known facts about this pregnancy, Dr. Sussman pre-planned to have Ang in the hospital prior to the term delivery is quite normal. Gestation at 37-42 weeks, or full term, G factor (a) is one for Shilo; G (b) 1 for previous C-section, and G (c) is 2 for the twin births. There may be other G risk factors as reported by the RAGS, such as Gestational Diabetes, but absence maternal medical history to rely on, RAGS HAVE NO PROBATIVE nor MEDICAL VALUES.
Ang’s pre-plan stay is a sound medical decision, expected and quite normal. It happens all the time. Sorry to miss this long awaited moment, but I join hands with you in spirit.
The waiting is rough - oh - don’t I know it all too well. I’m stuck here at TU, with 3 code reds. 13 hours straight. Just witnessing my patient’s will to survive make it all worthwhile for me and my team. I am at awe at the human spirit’s will for survival !
