The girls are beautiful,and so is Brad. He is a wonderful man. I wish them well. Birthing twins can’t be easy,but Im sure that she will do fine. I feel a little sad,I guess,because if she is trying to have them vaginally and is having labor pains,being in labor and going through isa task. We are praying and pulling for you Angie. Hopefully you will be holding your babies soon.

Ok you don’t have to be a fan or you don’t have to like this couple. But a child being born is a blessed event. Don’t like the couple? OK but the children are innocent in all this and EVERY child deserves to be truly welcomed to the world. My prayers go out to this family. A press conference? That seems a little over the top….not Brad & Angie’s style at all. They didn’t do this cr*p in Africa. I’m thinking it’s the doctor and hospital trying to get in the lime light. I hope nothing is wrong with Angie or the twins. Or maybe like someone else posted, it is the hospital’s way of getting the paps out of the freakin way.

How rediculous. What a circus they are creating. She is a woman giving birth to her children. It’s been done before and it will happen again. Everyone needs to stop making such a big deal out of it.

I know it’s stupid to predict but I have a feeliing the doctor may just expalin how the French medical system & Lenval handles pregnancies, especially mulitples. That link I posted yesteray recounts a multiples pregnancy and delivery at Lenval. With the caveat that this woman’s water broke at 33 months and was advised to drive into Nice from an hour away (normal single delivery is 40 weeks).

Here’s an excerpt:
“At Lenval they put me on a drip to stop the babies coming too soon, and I was put in a room to rest. Over the next few days I was given drugs to build up their lungs, and their heart beats were monitored 4 times a day.
On the Sunday I started to feel very unwell. I had a constant headache, plus I seemed to be getting bloated. They sent a doctor in to check my heart, as it started to race a fair bit. That night the nurse said that she thought they would give me a c-section the following day, and to be prepared.
The following morning, I was so bloated I could hardly get out of bed, let alone sit on a toilet. I felt terrible. They took my blood to test it, and told me that they were taking my straight away to have an emergency c-section. I had pre-eclempsia, and was now seriously ill. I could die if they waited any longer, so we could not wait for Ashley [husband] to drive down from the house.

On Easter Monday at 11h30 Edward Daniel was born, followed by Lydia Tallulah-Joy two minutes later. Both were taken straight to intensive care, as they were premature, being only 34 weeks.
I was put in an anti-room and fell asleep, knowing all was now ok. I felt much better now they were out, my headache and all my other symptoms had gone. That part was easy!
I could write a lot about our time in Lenval, as we were there a total of 3 weeks after the birth. The twins were in intensive care for just one day, and then moved to neo-natal for the rest of our stay there. I moved up there for the last week, as I lived too far away to visit every day.
What I will say is that the hospital could not have been kinder, and more professional. They looked after Edward, Lydia and myself brilliantly, and I was upset to leave, also bloody scared!”

Jolie seems as strong and healthy as a horse. Neither she nor Brad would take foolish risks with their childrens’ lives. Maybe we should all have our babies in France. Especially on the Cote d’Azur. This was a brilliant idea. Beautiful location, perfect vacation, nearby work and great medical care with a modicum of privacy.

There’s a press conference because the public is insatiable to know about this couple. It’s sad but probably done to satisfy the millions who want to know. I could not live like this family is forced to. Yes, the money is good but the lack of privacy , intense scrutiny,and having my personal life laid bare for the world to feed off and in some cases, ridicule, would drive me crazy.

The press conference is probably to allow the JPs to issue a nice, factual statement about events to prevent more nonsense like the ET hoax. They know people are clamoring for the info, so it is actually very practical for them to issue information themselves to stop the rumor crazes.

Of course we have our own lives. Most of us have families, work, do hobbies, volunteer work etc.
What is wrong about being excited for this couple. I’m probably far older than you and I got up to check the news last night to see if the babies had born. Why? Because I adore this couple–I absolutely love Angie for her devotion to the world’s refugees. Having been to Africa on working/volunteer vacations–I love the fact that she is strong enough to work with the UNHCR bring the plight of these people to the world. And I love Brad for wanting to rebuild NOLA. Having lived in New Orleans for many years in the past and having developed a deep love for the city, I’m glad Brad is trying to make a difference. I
And yes, I also do live a bit vicariously through their lives. I always wanted to have a family like they have put together, but life got in the way and was unable to adopt or have more children. Their parenting styles seem similar to mine and I love their loving, rainbow family.

So what is wrong with wanting to share their joy in their twins? What is wrong with wanting to celebrate in our own small ways? Of course most of us will probably never meet them, but there is nothing wrong with celebrating the joy with and for a couple that is devoted to their family and their work and their volunteerism. Far better than celebrating Heidi Montag’s new single, Lindsay Lohan’s new movie to be, Paris Hilton’s relationship, etc. Now these are self-centered, self-serving indivduals. I’d be worried about myself if I got up in the middle of the night to check on any of them!

Angelina Jolie’s Doctor: ‘Everything Is Normal’

Angelina Jolie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, assured the press at a news conference in the South of France Wednesday that all is well with the expectant mom, and that she and Brad Pitt want the world to know that everything’s going as expected regarding the impending delivery.

“Everything is normal,” the obstetrician said in French, as he also said in English, “She is very well, and she’s okay.”

“It is simply a visit of surveillance, no birth,” Sussmann said of his patient, who entered the hospital over the weekend. “Brad and Angie want everyone to know that everything is going well.”

Saying that Jolie’s “very, very nice,” the doctor added, “She will stay in the hospital until the birth. I will stay with her.”

What he was not specific about was the due date. “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure,” he said.

i think because she went in at 10pm at night it was to have a c-section tues 1st. she has already had the babies and brad is taking his kids to see them. He wouldn’t take the kids if there was nothing to see he would leave them with nannies(as usual) and go see his partner himself if she is supposed to be resting. she has been at home resting so there was definetly a reason for the hospital, the babies birth.

MEDIA MADNESS MUST STOP

The press conference is not fame-whoring on Angie’s part. It was was a way to get the media to stop calling the hospital and sneaking shots of all and sundry through windows . The staff have better things to do than to be constantly taking calls for the press. This is not a hospital with a giant PR department on call, like Cedars of Sloane. This is a French hospital where they do not normally have the media bombarding them. The French media knows better, because of France’s privacy laws. But for US Weekly and every other rag to be constantly calling to update their stories and find out what she had for breakfast lunch and dinner, must be getting to be too much for this hospital staff. The doctor is hoping that by telling everyone that she should be there for weeks and the births are not imminent, they will get everyone to stop the frenzy. THIS IS NOT A CIRCUS, IT IS THE BIRTH OF TWO BABIES WHICH THE MEDIA IS TRYING TO TURN INTO A CIRCUS not because they care, but all for the love of money, rating and magazine sales..

NOt always. My sister had c-section but her other 2 babies afer that c-section were born va-gi-na-lly. Geez, people, not all pregnancy and childbirths are the same. Of course with twins, it is safer to have c-section.

I am so happy to hear that everything is A-OK with Angie and the babies. I absolutely believe that the PC was a way to try to ratchet down the craziness that started when it was revealed she was in the hospital. The doctor even went to great pains to say that it could be a few more weeks before she gives birth. Hopefully the paps will take the bait and leave.

I find it disingenious when these trolls and idiots complain about the need for a PC. These were the same ones who were saying she had the baby when ET incorrectly said so a few weeks back and it was denied. These are probably the same fools who claimed she is not really pregnant, and is using a prosthetic stomach as a ruse, (God help us, the idiocy will be the death of common sense). These are probably the same fools who were DEMANDING that she shows herself to prove she is still pregnant. A**ES each and every one of them.

About the other IDIOTS who are calling fans obssessive and ridiculous for being happy and awaiting the birth of the babies of people who we admire, I say go to hell. I find it hilarious when i visited sites like popsugar, and they will make fun of the fans at JJ because we admired Brad and Angie and would defend them vigorously, but yet they could not see the irony that they would be bashing them and their children with the most hateful comments. I tell you, hate is a blind and dangerous and wasted emotion. I cannot stand Brad’s ex-wife, and i wish she never again enjoy any lasting success because of her hateful behaviour, but hate? not for me.

Whatever makes someone have a C-section in the first place is probably not going away — tipped uterus, narrow hips, etc. But Shi was born C-section because she was breech. That doesn’t mean Angie will always need a C-section.

One doesn’t know everything about another’s medical history, just because they read every bit of news on that person.

doesnt mean that they are some kind of jenifer annustin fan. and sure, maybe Jenifer annustin gets peed on? who knows.anything is possible. and yes, that would cause her to have bacteria on her, but at least that would be her own fault. Shiloh and Zahara are babies, and all the gianna was saying, was that it is not sanitary for children to be walking around (if they were set down, which who knows, maybe he uncomfortably held them both, a very hard task to do since they are 2 and 3 and most likely very squirmy) I dont know why he wouldn’t just put shoes on the girls rather than not.

Shiloh is absolutely beautiful! Zahara is NOT so beautiful!

It could be that someone will carry the bag in which the girls’ shoes are put in the hospital room later. Or the hospital provides sanitary slippers for children just as they do patients, doctors and nurses. We all know that patients come in all age, don’t we?

I pray that Angie will be safe in delivering her twins with Brad. Can’t wait to see them…The girls are adorable…More power to Brad and Angie we love you…

Shouldn’t your angry be directed at your local tv station for breaking into your story? Whoever is running your local station must of felt that it was a big enough story to break in to your stories. So B&A must not be too overrated.

About the press conference, the hospital’s spokesperson release a statement yesterday that the hospital visit was planed, the babies are not due soon and the Angelina is feeling fine. BUT the MEDIA still went crazy about why Angelina was there. The MEDIA kept calling the hospital for information. The MEDIA started camping out in front of a hospital interrupting other patients and family members of pateits. Thus Angelina’s doctor’s press conference gave solid answer and hopefully sent the media on its way.

So you see your angry should be thrown at the MEDIA (local, national and international)

BTW I can live my life and not hear on thing about B&A. If you are tired of them than maybe you should examine your life.

Brad is a lucky guy. Presently, everyday he is sorrounded with three beautiful ladies. Soon, it will be five.

a gem of a photo (although it is awful for the Jolie-Pitts to be hounded at an intimate time like this). Zahgara’s darkness and Shiloh’s fairness makes for a dramatic and gorgeous contrast..
It is very touching to see ‘dad’ carrying his ‘girls’ up to visit ‘mum’ - I can vividly recall the time i was in hospital waitng to deliver my second child and how my husband had to keep bringing in my first-born two-year-old.
This is such a fraught time for Brad and Angelina - how to keep all the family happy!

Of course we have our own lives. Most of us have families, work, do hobbies, volunteer work etc.
What is wrong about being excited for this couple. I’m probably far older than you and I got up to check the news last night to see if the babies had born. Why? Because I adore this couple–I absolutely love Angie for her devotion to the world’s refugees. Having been to Africa on working/volunteer vacations–I love the fact that she is strong enough to work with the UNHCR bring the plight of these people to the world. And I love Brad for wanting to rebuild NOLA. Having lived in New Orleans for many years in the past and having developed a deep love for the city, I’m glad Brad is trying to make a difference. I
And yes, I also do live a bit vicariously through their lives. I always wanted to have a family like they have put together, but life got in the way and was unable to adopt or have more children. Their parenting styles seem similar to mine and I love their loving, rainbow family.

So what is wrong with wanting to share their joy in their twins? What is wrong with wanting to celebrate in our own small ways? Of course most of us will probably never meet them, but there is nothing wrong with celebrating the joy with and for a couple that is devoted to their family and their work and their volunteerism. Far better than celebrating Heidi Montag’s new single, Lindsay Lohan’s new movie to be, Paris Hilton’s relationship, etc. Now these are self-centered, self-serving indivduals. I’d be worried about myself if I got up in the middle of the night to check on any of them!
