Angelina Jolie’s Obstetrician Call For Press Conference
Brad Pitt arrives at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France, carrying his children Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2, on Wednesday, July 2.
Yesterday, Angelina Jolie checked into the Lenval Hospital, where she is expected to give birth to her twins.
But she may have already! Angie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, called for a news conference for later this afternoon.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the Jolie-Pitts!

Each event is different. Therefore, it doesnt have to handle the exact same way as last time.
Has it ever occurred to you that may be the doctor’s talking will help prevent all those “ET debacle” ? Remember on Shi’s birth, there was no “false birth rumor”.
It’s not that you dont understand. It’s your CHARACTER, and your HATRED that prompt you to write such a NEGATIVE post.
I agree with post 7, you fans are on the verge of being “possesive”.
Kinda scary actually.
How rediculous. What a circus they are creating. She is a woman giving birth to her children. It’s been done before and it will happen again. Everyone needs to stop making such a big deal out of it.
I saw the pictures of the new babies on pro thinspo that site that we are not allowed to talk about … lol
I know it’s stupid to predict but I have a feeliing the doctor may just expalin how the French medical system & Lenval handles pregnancies, especially mulitples. That link I posted yesteray recounts a multiples pregnancy and delivery at Lenval. With the caveat that this woman’s water broke at 33 months and was advised to drive into Nice from an hour away (normal single delivery is 40 weeks).
Here’s an excerpt:
“At Lenval they put me on a drip to stop the babies coming too soon, and I was put in a room to rest. Over the next few days I was given drugs to build up their lungs, and their heart beats were monitored 4 times a day.
On the Sunday I started to feel very unwell. I had a constant headache, plus I seemed to be getting bloated. They sent a doctor in to check my heart, as it started to race a fair bit. That night the nurse said that she thought they would give me a c-section the following day, and to be prepared.
The following morning, I was so bloated I could hardly get out of bed, let alone sit on a toilet. I felt terrible. They took my blood to test it, and told me that they were taking my straight away to have an emergency c-section. I had pre-eclempsia, and was now seriously ill. I could die if they waited any longer, so we could not wait for Ashley [husband] to drive down from the house.
On Easter Monday at 11h30 Edward Daniel was born, followed by Lydia Tallulah-Joy two minutes later. Both were taken straight to intensive care, as they were premature, being only 34 weeks.
I was put in an anti-room and fell asleep, knowing all was now ok. I felt much better now they were out, my headache and all my other symptoms had gone. That part was easy!
I could write a lot about our time in Lenval, as we were there a total of 3 weeks after the birth. The twins were in intensive care for just one day, and then moved to neo-natal for the rest of our stay there. I moved up there for the last week, as I lived too far away to visit every day.
What I will say is that the hospital could not have been kinder, and more professional. They looked after Edward, Lydia and myself brilliantly, and I was upset to leave, also bloody scared!”
Jolie seems as strong and healthy as a horse. Neither she nor Brad would take foolish risks with their childrens’ lives. Maybe we should all have our babies in France. Especially on the Cote d’Azur. This was a brilliant idea. Beautiful location, perfect vacation, nearby work and great medical care with a modicum of privacy.
You’d have to be completely WITHOUT brains to question the need for a press conference. Need we remind anyone how a photographer pretending to be a staff snuck into the hospital…TWICE in NAMIBIA when Shiloh was born?!! My God! I can’t imagine what the media is putting the French hospital staffs through. So ya darn skippy they’ll hold a freaking press conference.
It’s amazing how even though she’s the one being STALKED, her every breath reported, she’s the one being blamed and called an attention seeker. That’s almost like blaming a rape victim because she colored her hair bright red and wore neon colored clothes…why, she brought the attention to herself. Stupid!
I wish her a very safe delivery (whenever it is) and the Family much Happiness.
There’s a press conference because the public is insatiable to know about this couple. It’s sad but probably done to satisfy the millions who want to know. I could not live like this family is forced to. Yes, the money is good but the lack of privacy , intense scrutiny, and having my personal life laid bare for the world to feed off and in some cases, ridicule, would drive me crazy.
what the hell is going on and why do they always have the same clothes on?
I see we have some Buzzards here.
Oh yeah…forgot to add, the girls are so cute, all prepped to meet their new siblings. Reminds me of when Mad was taken to meet Shiloh…so sweet. I love how the JPs involve all their kids in everything.
Thanks Jared and A Hearty Hello to all the JP fans far and near.
Thanks Jared for the updates! You are a prince amongst bloggers!
Brad is hot. Shiloh is a beauty.
That is not your damn business, now is it.
I hope everything is going okay. Brad looks very stressed…A press conference?.wow…..I hope something didn’t go wrong……….it is scary
seems like a pretty pointless press conference…didn’t they just confirm what was already known? That she was admitted to the hospital for a precautionary method…I don’t even understand why they were obligated to tell everyone…a waste of time all the way around…
with that said, I hope she has a very safe and happy delivery of the babies…
It’s pretty funny how some of the Brangie fans are talking about how they “couldn’t sleep last night”, “their day has been made”, “they can’t stand the excitement”, etc. Don’t you all have anything interesting going on in your own lives? Maybe, involving people that you actually have the ability to interact with? LOL
You are loosing it already  shame  wait till they announce it  i think you’ll help him  scream @ the ocean
LOVE JOLIE-PITTS!!!!
Oh dear, that is Angelina’s look through and through there on Shiloh’s face. Very pretty. Zahara’s eyes are so big and pretty.
It’d kill some chicks to see two more babies looking like Shiloh. This makes me smile.
Shiloh is the most gorgeous little girl ever.
haters are nuts
I see we have visitors here i guess they are waiting also to hear what Angie is having.I Hope Angie has a little boy and a little girl. But i wish for two healthy babies.wishing Angelina a safe delivery.Brad’s two little girls are so gorgeous.
the obstetrician said she’ll be delivering in the next coming weeks!
I am so excited for the twins birth!
The press conference is probably to allow the JPs to issue a nice, factual statement about events to prevent more nonsense like the ET hoax. They know people are clamoring for the info, so it is actually very practical for them to issue information themselves to stop the rumor crazes.
Their daughters are insanely pretty !
